The staff was very friendly & energetic. The experience was fun! You get to ride on a tractor out to the fields. The blueberries are sweet, & the strawberries were very ripe! There’s lots of space for social distancing so you can remove your mask. Only thing I would suggest is to provide a garbage so people aren’t disposing their masks on the ground. Will come back again!

No entrance fee and friendly staffs. We buy and pay for the basket at the entrance, then they do not weigh the baskets when we leave. We pick as much as we can to fill up the entire basket lol. Huge farm and it's easy to take the tractor ride from one stop to another stop. We picked blueberries (blue jay is big in size), strawberries, green and yellow beans and it's our first time to pick sweet corns. Lots of supplies and good quality. It's a very fun experience and not crowded. The staff assigned one aisle for each group. We do not see anyone around us. It's very very good and lots of social distancing. However, Some tractor ride doesn't have seats, it's a bit difficult for seniors to sit and get up.

We come every year, every season- Spring, Summer and Fall. The market is fabulous, local and everything is so fresh. Excellent spot to take your family. Covid protocols are in place, however, when we went picking, we didn't have to wear masks in the field due to the fact that there were so little of us and it was easy to spread out. Highly recommend! My kids have so much fun here.

Great farm updates on their website for the Harvest schedule, hours of operation, and offers drive thru and curbside pick up. Highly recommend you check out their website to plan your visit. We visited the market, and there was a wide selection of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, coffee, jams, apple cidar and sauces there. Pumpkins are in season right now, currently sells for $9 each or 3 for $25. We bought blueberry jam, a cookie, walnut butter tart and fresh strawberries. The strawberries were kinda pricey but it tasted so good.

I don't grow anything myself so it was a good experience picking my own strawberries and blue berries. Though it's cheaper to buy a bunch of them at the grocery store, here you can pick the ones you want and even eat as much as you like. So if you have the appetite it can be more cost effective, but I couldn't, lol. I went on a cloudy day so it was great being there, if it were sunny, is have stopped sooner. Bring a hat, water and sunscreen. This is great for the whole family.

What a wonderful experience! We decided to visit this place to pick our own strawberries. When we got here, there were a lot of parking spots available. Employees were kind and helpful. We did not expect there to be tractors that takes us to our desired field (they offer more than just strawberry picking.. ie. Apples). Hopping on the tractor for a ride was fun! We picked field strawberries. It felt like it was going to take forever to fill up our basket, since field strawberries are so small - but it actually filled up quick! The fields were clean and smelt like strawberries whenever there's a breeze. After we finished berry picking, we hopped on the tractor again to ride back to the entrance. The berries were juicy and very delicious. We're pretty satisfied with our experience and the strawberries. We would definitely visit this farm again and look forward to trying their other fruits. We also visited their market which was nice. They offer a lot of fresh produce, pastries, gourmet sauces, marinates, seasonings, pickled vegetables, honey, flavoured creamed honey, beeswax, jams, jellies, fruit syrups, coffee, flavoured organic cooking oils, vinegars, apple cider, and more!

Barrie Hill Farms is a fantastic farm near Snow Valley. It's a fun place for the family to visit for a very berry experience. The sprawling fruit patches are a tractor ride away from the front parking and market area. It's literally strawberry fields forever, without the crowd! We visited in the late summer and happily caught the Fall strawberry season, along with plenty of ripe blueberries. We came away with two large baskets. Starting in early May, the farm also has a selection of many other vegetables & fruits: asparagus, sweet corn, tomatoes, beans & peas, raspberries, apples and pumpkins. We noticed some local visitors came specifically to the market, so we followed suit. It was well-stocked with local produce, as well as jars and pies. I couldn't turn down some pecan butter tarts, while supporting this family farm that's operated since 1968.
