I'm a full atheist (I ended up going a few times with a family friend), but this is the type of church I'm more than ok with. If every church was like this, religion wouldn't pose any problems to society Extremely progressive outlook: e.g. they have a library of social justice books, and sermon topics have included things like overcoming white fragility, the fight to end poverty, and the need for "Christian solidarity" in the face of rising fascism...alongside more mundane but relevant and useful topics like nutrition. Posters and brochures everywhere focus on things like initiatives to end poverty and inequality, house the homeless, feed starving children, and even some surprising ones like the importance of making religious communities a safe space for LGBTQ2A+ people. Really interesting and unusual interior that looks halfway between a piece of postmodern art and a community centre. The main mass room is bathed in sunlight, and as a person who gets depressed when I don't get enough natural light, this is something I deeply appreciate. Lots of places for kids to go play, including a wide assortment of toys. Kind preachers. Comparatively lively music. An unusually friendly community with a general "doors open, come on in" vibe. If you're a Christian, would recommend - it's a very warm and modern church.

My family has started to rent the hall for their kids to have their birthday party at. I wish my parents would have thought of this idea when I was little! You can have so many people there! The best part is if you get cake on the furniture plastic cleans very easily! :) Thank you for letting our little ones run wild in a safe environment!!
