★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm a bit disappointed. I was trying to shop local and thought I would try something new. I'm a pizza kind of girl.
Called in to ask for clarification on the dishes I ordered last night since I didn't realize chow mein is not Canadian chow mein with fried noodles but instead the exact same dish as chop Suey (which I also ordered). So I ended up with two of the same dishes. No problem.
I wasn't calling to complain. I was calling just so ask so for next time I know what to order. He seemed to be looking to argue instead of listening to what I was trying to ask.
Food was good. Portions seemed decent.
Would not have ordered from skip the dishes if I knew I would miss out on a free fried rice if I ordered off their website.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used to live in Barrhaven and ordered food from the Lucky Panda for 3 years. We were forced to move to the Merivale Rd area several years ago, we tried 3 different Chinese place in this new area none of them came close to Lucky Panda so now when we have reason to be in this area we take home an order from Lucky Panda. It's so fresh and tastes so yummy!!!! If you are looking for good Chinese take home you need look no further.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh, reasonable amount of meat and vegetable. Less greasy than most Chinese takeout in the area and they open until 10:30 most days.
My fried noodles and beef was as expected. My husband's broccoli and beef was tender and tasty.
Their almond chicken soogay is a MUST TRY!
Update:
After lockdown, quality is still the best. Service is even better. If you are worried for drop-in, order online for pickup is available. We came in just to pay and the lady bring the orders to our car! Hand sanitizer available inside. Masks for indoor and covid guidelines are followed. Sign is accordance with by-law's. Includes medical exemptions. This is the business we need to support.
