Naturally, we had no idea where to start, and fortunately we were introduced to Liz and Kim of the Baribax team. This was the first reno of this size for the both of us, so it was huge learning experience and rather daunting at the same time. Liz and Kim's expertise and lines of communication definitely made the whole process a smooth and enjoyable one. Everything they selected for us was bang on, and according to our taste. There is SO MUCH material, finishes, and options to look at, that it makes it almost impossible to do a large reno within your timeline without an interior designer. Bari Bax has all the right connections to all the vendors you need, which is clearly a result of all the hard work they put in for their clients. The next time we do another reno, or have family and friends looking to do one, it will be with Bari Bax Designs!

Liz helped us every step of the way and provided invaluable advice and design input. She's easy to work with and has a good collaborative approach to include the best ideas from everyone. She really got creative and saved us a couple of times when construction obstacles seemed to force poor compromises. The end result was stunning. I'd be happy to work with her again.

Her design was a different (and better) layout than the original and made far better use of cupboard space. My wife and I purchased a two bedroom condo in Coquitlam a year ago. The building was 30 years old and had the original kitchen cabinets. We knew that an upgrade would be required! I took some pictures and sketched the layout with some dimensions and Liz did the rest. To save money, I used a cabinet installer friend of mine and assisted him. The order was complete and went together perfectly. Just prior to and after the install, Liz followed up to ensure that all went well. It did! I would highly recommend Liz and Bari Bax Designs!
