I was in to have my usual straight shave and haircut today and once again, the quality and the service were sublime! Unfortunately, this location had received awful reviews in the past, when it was under the care of the previous owner. Let me assure you, this is not the case anymore! You will receive nothing but the most attentive service and a quality of service unmatched in the city! The new owner of this establishment is a Master of his craft and it shows in the quality of his work, and in how he treats his customers. Not only is he exceptional at what he does, but he does it with love and respect for his craft. He is as much an artist with a pair of scissors, clippers and straight razor, as Renoir or Picasso were with brushes, canvas and paint! His haircuts are always perfect and I swear the man could shave a balloon! And he always has my best look in mind. From the hot towel treatment, to the light dusting of powder to prevent chafing, every detail is paramount. And whether he's wrangling a rogue eyebrow, tending to a few "spider legs" creeping out of a nostril, or managing that nasty, unwanted ear hair, the way I look when I leave his shop is as important to him, as it is to me. Rarely these days, do you find a small shop owner who has his customer's satisfaction in the forefront and it is a very welcome treat every time I go in to this shop! He ensures that I leave his shop happy and looking my best every single time. I can't recommend the Bankview Barbershop highly enough! Unfortunately there are only 5 stars available for this review, because he is certainly deserving of 10+!

Hit or miss. Sometimes thou have great service and good time talking with the staff. Other times your not even talked to about how you want your hair. It's 1030 am on Sunday and they are locked up tight, even tho posted hours say they are to be open.

This place is ? If your looking for a solid fade come see Joe and Abdo. I get compliments all the time and they do great job. Joe is an amazing barber he truly cares about all his customers❤

Great environment in my neighborhood. New owner, Joe, from ~3 years ago do well for the community. Always friendly, clean, and always using protocols to protect customers. Highly recommend this Barber!
