★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst place to buy meat. .The workers there hesitate to cut beef if you ask them...Will start making faces. .And on top of that workers at this store don't follow Alberta Health and Safety Guidelines. . Most of them don't wear MASK and those who are wearing their nose will be open and will cover their neck..This Bangali Store is a Rip off

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. Great place for Indian and Bengali food products starting from spices, puffed rice, chanachur, rice, dal, chicken.
2. Vegetables were not in good shape on the day I visited.
3. Fish to be kept in smaller sizes so that someone can buy fishes as per 2 persons'
need
4.recommendation: Highly recommended if you are from West Bengal, Bangladesh, or other Indian cities .
But vegetables can be avoided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place for Banhladeshi and Indian Bengali foods in Calgary NE. It is much cleaner now but still that stink from their open butcher shop at the back end of the store is unmistakable. Just for the sake of clarity I am not Bengali but I do buy those huge Rohu and Katla fishes. Their veggie selection has improved a lot. Prices are usually a little bit on higher side but overall a good place for bengali grocery.

2nd and 3rd times creams weren't original and also bottle was half empty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Undoubtedly a great place to shop Desi stuff. However, a lot of items are bit pricey, including meat, comparatively.
Also, around 30% of the items have no price tag, which is really frustrating.
I hope they will focus on to fix these issues..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop gave us old chicken. It smelled and full of bacteria ? sold us. I can not believed being customer for 2 years. They have done this twice sold chicken full of bacteria. I would not recommend this shop of buying Any sort of chicken. Alll Restyrant owner be aware of this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited my Ayurvedic doctor and she prescribed some spices and herbs to take from my auto immune disease. This little store is jam packed full with all kinds of wonderful spices, fruits, vegetables, and so many wonderful East Indian delicacy spices that I will be sure to go back and peruse the store for another hour. They also have fresh meats. The staff were very friendly and very informative. There is also freezers full of fish that I will be sure to take a look at on my next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This store has a good collection of big fishes, but not much of green vegetables. We bought quite a bit of fishes and asked for a box to carry but they had only one service provider at that moment. Based on her instructions, looked for a box but couldn’t find anywhere. Was really disappointed with this level of service. There were other customers were asking me if I worked there as they were also looking for help.
