★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have rented from Bakers Bungalows for 4 years in a row and have always enjoyed our stay. Cabins were recently upgraded and have adequate space for couples, families or groups. With each visit our cabins were clean and filled with many extras you don't get elsewhere. The accommodation prices are very fair, Waskiesu has a lot of amenities for a lake and is a popular destination. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. Definitely would stay again:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I recently had the pleasure of going to the Baker’s Bungalows in Waskesui. Our cabin was a cute little one bedroom that had a full kitchen, a full bathroom, sleeping for 4 and even a barbecue on the deck. We were located a very short walk to the water’s edge and a15 minute walk from the main beach and downtown Waskesui.
The cabin was clean, the staff was fantastic and we had a great time.
We will definitely be returning again. Can’t wait to see the plan’s for this awesome little getaway spot that Cody and Sheena have invested in come to fruition.

Cabins are clean and well maintained. They aren't fancy but have everything you need. Basic cutlery, pots & pans, a decent propane BBQ, and a deck, a TV with a few channels to watch if it's rainy.
Maybe 100 meters from a nice sandy beach, close at hand some swings & stuff for kids. There's a store with basic groceries, coffee, and ice cream.
Lots of squirrels to watch. Elk or deer often wander by the cabins.
It's a 20 walk to the main beach / " downtown " area with more stores, restaurants and services.
I've been to Bakers many times, never had a problem. For a weekend getaway or a one or two week stay it's great value and friendly service.

They're super cute, nicely renovated, and have all the conveniences we needed, including a highchair and playpen for our little one, and a stocked kitchenette. They're close to the beach, close to a large green area, and there's a well stocked grocery store on site. The new management is very approachable and prompt. We'll definitely be coming back!
