About Baillie-Grohman Estate Winery
After 2 years of calculus and arts studies at University of Alberta Wes’s interest took a turn towards winemaking when his parents Bob & Petra were setting up the Bailie-Grohman Winery in Creston. After working a harvest together with a kiwi winemaker, Wes decided to travel to New Zealand to complete his oenology degree at EIT in Hawkes Bay.
He returned home in 2014 to join his family winery in Creston and took over as winemaker in 2016.

Wes is passionate about making expressive, elegant, handcrafted wines and is ready to make his mark in the BC wine industry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful! We stopped by on a whim as we've never been in the area before. After stopping in to purchase a bottle of wine they informed us that they are pet friendly, and we had her two dogs with us. We had a lovely wine tasting, then an amazing charcuterie board with a lovely bottle of wine in a secluded grassed area . Our dogs relaxed while we enjoyed the wonderful food, wine & stunning scenery. Absolutely recommend! Staff was amazingly friendly and informative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has to be one of my favourite BC wineries. Super welcoming, beautiful scenery, and amazing wine. The young owners, Myran & Wes are really invested in the art of wine making and their passion shines through not just in the wines but the whole winery experience. The live music on the patio during summer months also has a great vibe. Be sure to stop in on your way through!
