Bachly Construction

We worked with Bachly Construction on a restoration and repair project and were very happy with the results. The work was well cooridianted, the staff were friendly and professional and, in particular, the work was very high quality. In some cases they may have put some items in a better state than from when they started!

Bachly was great! They were quick to respond and amazing to work with! We had a small issue with the flooring install and they were back the following day to make the repairs! We had no choice in companies as ours was an insurance claim but I’m glad we had this company! Speedy, efficient, listened and responded to any concerns!

I’ll start off by saying, I didn’t have a choice in companies to use, as this was an insurance claim. But if I had a choice I would not use this company ever again. I had water damage, and they were great at first, came out immediately and dried everything out quick. But doing the rebuild was a nightmare. It was supposed to be done in a week, and it’s over a month past that and still not done. It was very localized damage. This all happened through covid, so I made it clear that the amount of visits was a concern, and asked that all the deficiencies created during their work would be fixed in one day, this is a month later and about 10 extra visits. There were things I mentioned to them at least 6 times and they were never completed. Their “finished” product was awful quality and paid no attention to detail. Thet left multiple dents in my wall that they didn’t fix, they left cracks in my wall thet didn’t fix (even after asking 6 times), they broke parts of my vanity, they reapplied corner baseboards on straight walls-leaving gaps that they clearly hoped I didn’t notice. To leave my house in this condition was shocking. But to get them to fix it was even more shocking. I’ve been promised for the last month “it will just be one more visit”, and it’s been multiple more visits. The list of deficiencies was long, but only a couple were done at a time, and when I asked when the rest will be done, they replied that everything was done, what was missing? And it was constantly half the list. It has now been a month, and I was promised this was the last visit. The last concern was the gaps in the base boards, which I addressed two weeks ago. They came in and did not have baseboards, and seemed surprised they needed them. This was a week ago now and I’ve tried to contact them multiple times to see when things would be done- it’s nice to know when someone is going to walk into your house. I’ve had no replies. I was told three weeks ago I was on a priority list now, that clearly isn’t the case. The communication in this company is almost as poor as their work quality. There were two days they didn’t even show up as planned. They moved all my belongings in my kitchen and living room, including my stove, (making it unliveable), 5 days before they needed to. They messed up the days the floors would be done, it was planned for a Thursday and Friday when I was at work, but they did it on the Saturday and Sunday and Sunday instead. I was unable to be in my house and during covid restrictions this was difficult as I had no where to go, luckily my insurance company was great. I would never use this company again. I don’t trust their work, and their organization is just as poor. I have given them dozens of opportunities to fix their work, and do a decent job, but they have no been able to, so I would recommend finding another company. I will attach a few (of many) photos of their FINISHED work.

We have had several projects completed and have others on the go with Bachly construction. They have always been professional, responsive, and the work by their team has been top notch. We intend to continue to use them with our future projects. One of these days I will upload some pictures of the beautiful work!

Our basement flooded and Bachly was the assigned contractor to handle the situation from our insurance provider. They quickly got fans and dehumidifiers into the space and the carpet out. Very professional staff. Despite a lack of communication between us and our insurance company, Bachly stayed on top of things and kept the process moving forward. Ashley was a rock-star and we couldn't be happier with our new basement.

We had to replace our hardwood floor and Bachly Construction organized that. Every person we dealt with was professional and friendly. They responded to my questions very quickly. We are so happy with the job they did and would recommend them.

I dealt with Bachly when I filed a claim for some repairs that needed to be done around my home. They contacted me a lot sooner than I had expected honestly. There were a lot of claims filed around the same time and I expected quite a wait. They were able to survey the damage, complete the repairs, and contact me regarding the work and came to check the repairs in a very timely manner! Days, not weeks. The people who completed the work were friendly. Overall, it was a great experience and I will not hesitate to use them again in the future!

We had a great experience working with Bachly. Our project was not large compared to other projects they have but we always felt like our project was managed the same. They were very quick to respond to questions and created a schedule that worked for us. The professionals that came to our home were very knowlegable, did great work and were very good to deal with.
