Hira, the manager of the Aveda store located on Ste-Catherine street of Montreal is a total NOT honest person. This month's promo was a free hand or foot cream. At 12:30pm this afternoon, I went to pick up my free cream. She didn't ask me and gave me the foot cream. I requested to get the hand cream, but she said that they no longer have any hand cream left, and just left with the foot cream. However, only 1hr later, I went in with my sister to pick up her free cream. Hira was not there and was on her lunch break. Another employee helped my sister and asked if my sister would like the hand or foot cream. Apparently, they have hand cream left over. So Hira (MANAGER on top of that) lied to me for whatever reason it was that they no longer have any more hand cream. This is not the first time this store AND manager has lied to me like this. A very dishonest place. Hira as the store manager should be ashamed of herself. If anyone would like to speak to me about this case, I have no problem to be confronted.

Been customer at this store for 15th years if not more.ever since I moved to Montreal. Was a regular customer who had no qualms spending 200doll a pop.but they have lost me as a customer forever.in this day and age where a customer should be gold it seems like this store with its deplorable staff think otherwise. As it is their products are overpriced.one can get organic natural now in healrhfoodstores.Dr bonner being one of them.but aside the price my grievance has to do with the staff.what they say is true an employee can make or break the business and they did a fine job just doing that.yes the store was closed for a while for renovations I was only too happy to see it reopens. 2 weeks ago I saw an ad for free samples come in and get them.nothing could b furhtwr from the truth.I go in waited politely my turn.finally reps ready to help they leave me stand in a corner till I asked for help.rude? Yes.but I wanted my samples.the rep does some hair test to make sure she gives me right sample.after the test I politely requested my samples as advertised. Rep says I can buy the products they have return policy.but that's not what I came for..finaaaaaally yes finally I got my samples..I complained to manager who was professional enough to leave me extra samples to pick up..professional ? Long storey short I was eventually told to part ways because the video showed girls did all they had to..Manger claims I got scalp massage.excuse me was a strand test and was made to feel I was an annoying customer. Ppl..I have been going to this store 15 yrs never made a complaint son hardly think I fit that category I was basicly treated with disrespect and wished of like dirt on the ground.no can do am neve going back.I will however continue buying Aveda but elsewhere like carrefour laval or online but most certainly never at that store and we r talking about a customer who spent min 1k a year and am spreading the word.to my find who has been shopping there for years and on fb.one happy customer adds another 10 but the contrary well read upon that folks.the products is exellent 10+ for that..the service sublevel -25...the Magee says she has 24 years experience. .well I think she needs retraining and perhaps it's not me that has to part ways but her with Aveda should part ways or manage a toilet it would suit her better.no I don't recommend the store I do recommend the products but shop elsewhere and am spreading the word.

A very good personal care products company owned by J&J. Located at McGill college and ste catherine streets. A wide variety of products, for different personal care needs. Pretty much all their products are on display at the store. These products are quite expensive and do not know how they fare with respect to other similar quality goods. Interesting to take a look. I use the hydrating mask, excellent results but at $30 some odd is pricey. It does last long though.

I had a few friends work there before and I heard bad stories about this place. They treat their employees like trash. They treat them badly and mentally torture them. It's a place where you have so much of sales pressure that its not healthy anymore. Over that they give you pennies and expect too much in return. Any sales you do, you get no commission back. And the main manager I heard is a bully. In terms of their knowledge about Ayurveda, which is laughable, they force their employees to lie to the customers about silicone content in their products. As a person who grew up listening about Ayurveda everyday and with family members who are professional Ayurvedic medicine practitioners, I can easily catch them lying. Their products are good but the way this store is managed is pity. Good luck to the company who deals with Ayurvedic beauty products, but unfortunately run by managers who has no knowledge whatsoever about these products herself.

My sister had a horrible experience with two of the associates in this store over getting her $60.71 store credit. They had a personal vendetta against my sister. They belittled her and each time she went to the store to use her merchandise credit, they said it doesn't work. However MAGICALLY 3 years later the merchandise credit worked in Toronto's Eaton center Aveda store. What a company!!!!
