We reserved online for the BnB as we were planning a day at the spa and preferred to not have to drive afterwards. We had pre arranged for a 1:30 check in with the owner via email. unbeknownst to us, our credit card was charged a few days before arrival. Turns out the day of our planned spa day and night at the BnB, the temperature was awful and had been so all night and throughout the day. When we arrived in Chelsea just before lunch time, we headed to the local convenient store to grab beer for the evening in the room, the lady working that day advised us that we should check in with the spa as she had heard they were accepting cancellations due to the weather. High winds had branches flying and tearing of trees, hydro was out and the spa was running wit a few generators and some pools were closed. We took her advice and contacted the spa, they were extremely helpful and recommended that we may prefer coming another day so we cancelled our reservations with them. We then headed to the BnB where we wanted to request a do-over, not a cancellation, simply a rebook. Upon requesting this, the owner got aggressive and upset saying it was not her problem or her fault that the weather sucked and that it was the season for this kind of weather. I politely explained that this overnight was a planned spa and hotel visit that in total added to approx $400, and added that even though the charge had already passed, we didn't want our money back, we were simply hoping to be able to come back another day, this is November, not like we are in the busy "in demand" season, we seemed to be the only ones in the whole BnB that day/night. There was still no electricity at this time. She rudely said that she was not interested in this and either way her check in was at 3 so she would not make the call before then, even though I told her the spa cancelled our visit and we were from out of town. I replied back that I would not wait til 3:30, we had a check in agreement for 1:30 and I would expect a reply by then. I walked out and we decided to go for lunch. At first, I wanted to just leave and go home and take the loss ($200+), then we decided to take the night regardless if she would accept we rebook, as it was already processed on our credit card and my husband and I both knew we would not be back. I advised her that we would take the room regardless. The hydro was back, there was no heat in the private room we had reserved, we had to blast the heat on, the wifi was not working... All in all, the service was rude, people skills are on the low, the location is perfect for walking distance to spa and pub, however, we do not plan on staying there again, nor do we plan on recommending the place. If you're going to operate a BnB, people skills are the number one quality you need to possess with your clients at all times. Customer satisfaction is what keeps people coming back and referring your business. A lack of does the opposite. We would not recommend to anyone.

Stayed in the private room... beautiful and well appointed. Very friendly hostess. Very short walking distance to spa Nordik! Would give 5 stars if it wasn't so close to road and traffic noise. Do recommend!

I booked this bed and breakfast for my boyfriend and I for a one night getaway from home. All in all, it was great!! The room was very tidy and beautifully decorated. Making my reservations were also very easy. My only complaint would be that it wasn't much of a bed and breakfast. I was disappointed with the breakfast. It was one day old waffles, a iogo yogurt and a bit of fruit. For the price I expected maybe some eggs or at least a bagle with cream cheese and a muffin! If the breakfast was improved, I would 1000% stay there again.

Stayed in the Cabane. Clean, easy to access and good instructions. a bit smaller than we thought it would be. Not enough electrical and the only power bar in the bedrooms didn't work properly, like the holes for the plugs were too big. No sink in the kitchenette was challenging. We found old used coffee filter in the coffee maker right after checking in. Great location.

My sisters and I stayed in the cabin for one night recently. The cabin itself is beautiful - exactly like the photos. The location of the b&b is also perfect. We spent the day at the Nordik spa and it was less than a 10 minute walk. However, the management of the b&b is very disorganized. We had arranged to drop off our bags early, and when we arrived, the individual who was working clearly had not been told that we were coming. We were lucky enough to be able to drop off our bags, but only because the guests who stayed in the cabin the night before had checked out early. Also, when we returned later to check in, I knocked on the door and phoned the b&b several times with no response. When I finally got someone on the phone, I was told that I should have received an email with the code for the door, but I double checked my inbox and junk folder and this email was nowhere to be found. It was very disappointing to spend a relaxing day at the spa and then have to wait outside in the pouring rain for someone to assist us. Finally, even though I provided my credit card information online, I still had to pay in person, and wasn't even told this until 15 minutes before check out, so it was lucky that we hadn't left early. The cost of the cabin is also expensive, especially since you're not provided breakfast. Overall, the space is lovely, but with all the issues we experienced, I'm not sure if I would stay here again.

This quaint, beautiful little hidden gem was such a treasure to find! My room was beautifully prepared and had contactless check-in for my stay during Covid . To my surprise, it included a small kitchenette and a BEAUTIFUL private back walkout patio. Just stunning!!! A short walk to incredible little shops and delicious food places in this adorable little Hamlet. ❤️

Walking distance to spa nordik, restaurants and trail paths. We stayed in the Little Red Cabin that was so quaint and comfy for our girls get away. Would definately recommend.

Overall: A bit disappointed. The cabane was super cute and clean. Great little amenities like fridge, microwave and even a toaster oven (only there for a night so we didn’t use, but would be amazing for a longer stay). Also coffee, tea and basic toiletries in the shower, all done in an eco friendly way (refillable bottles). Would be a great spot for a girls’ weekend due to the sleeping arrangements. Bed was comfy! Check in was confusing as I had been in the woods for a week before arrival without access to internet, so I wasn’t aware of the arrival instructions. My bad! Manon called me back quickly to explain and re-sent the email, which was great. However, my complaint is that our room was not secure, at all. Before 10am someone entered our room. I assume the woman was staying that night. Check in is at 3pm but somehow she thought it was okay to unlock our door and begin to enter at 9:45 am? Luckily, we were already dressed and about to head out the door to get coffee. Had she arrived 15 minutes later she would have entered our room with all our belongings there (and not us). After this we opted to keep our belongings in our car, much safer (even though we had nothing of any value… don’t need my clothes stolen, thanks!). For this reason I might not stay here again. I think the checkin process or communication should be improved so that things like this can’t happen. It’s not the owner’s fault that this woman had no manners and thought it was okay to enter a room before 10 in the morning - but it is their fault that she was able to do so!
