★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In over 30 years of using hair salon services, I tried this salon for the first time but my hair was damaged for the first time in my entire life. I wasn't sure until I got a professional referral but Au Premiere said they can't do anything because too much time has passed. I think the service is very poor. Even if a lot of time has passed, they should be able to do something about it. The perm didn't come out complete at all and professional hair stylists said my hair was not done well and it was incomplete and damaged.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Au premier is really a premiere in styling and cutting hair. This time around, Glen cut my hair and he is excellent and fast! Btw, for color, ask for Ben! Experienced and creative.
Emma did my eyebrows and did a good job!
Now, when it comes to pedicure and manicure, ask for someone experienced! I had a VERY slow Technicien and she was not good.
Their facial is very good too.
Overall, I highly recommend this place. Weakest point is their pedicure and manicure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend recommended this salon to me and I came and was scheduled with Sylvana I believe, one of the owners. I have short hair and I asked her to do a modern haircut, but not too short. She has no idea what it means- modern and how to work with short hair to make it look good. I am very disappointed. 95$ for haircut only and I had to go on vacation with disaster on my head.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During a visit to Montreal last week I treated my friend to a mani/pedi at her usual place. I was quite certain that I would have a great service and that my very dry hands and nails would get a fantastic treatment. The visit was on Thursday and by Sunday my nail polish was chipping and the shine had become dull. I hadn’t washed dishes or used any chemicals of any kind on my hands. I was visiting. Now less than a week from this treatment I have to remove the polish on my nails because they look so bad. I feel ripped off. I paid more than $200 for both of us. The pedicure was pretty good but the manicure was shoddy. My friend only had her finger nails trimmed and buffed. I think my nails should have looked good for at least 10 days. I will not visit this salon again for manicures.
