★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been coming to Mabel Lake for years and today we went to the Ashton Creek General Store for the first time because the markets at Mabel Lake were closed. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the genuinely caring staff, selection and variety at Ashton Creek. We found everything we needed for our self isolation cabin stay: wine, liquor, condiments, dairy, snacks, foods, gasoline. Good people, good service. We're definitely coming back. If only they offered more fresh produce and a bit more variety of health foods. They did have locally made wraps and that is a nice touch.
