I think they make their own pickled ginger and it's so yummy!! I have a gluten allergy and they've been great at accomodating my needs. I haven't gotten sick from their sushi so my fellow celiac friends you should give them a try!
C	CY Siu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ranging from 12.5-$15 for korean bowl based food and with offerings of other side snacks (nigiri, gyoza, tempura, takoyaki, etc..) this korean/Japanese food spot in the farmers market is worth a visit. The folks here are approachable, friendly and quick to serve. Food comes piping hot and saucey. The one thing to note is the sizing of the food - although an appropriate eating size, it still feels a little smaller than what I would want for a meal size. The content itself is good but the rice and salad can perhaps be a wee bit more generous. Nonetheless, worth a visit and will be going back to try other variety of bowls.

Jess always has a great smile and the chef is the Mom. I may go here a lot but it's never disappointed. This is the KFC and my go to.

It's a Japanese/Korean food stand in Crossroads Market run by the sweetest family & I can honestly say they probably have the best Korean food in the city! Everything tasted super authentic & both the bibimbap & gukbap are THE best versions I've ever had in Calgary! They have limited permanent menus like sushi & bibimbap, but they usually change their 2 feature dishes every weekend. I REALLY hope they open a real restaurant one day because I would definitely eat there every week! So glad I found this hidden gem. ? IG: @hungry.yyc
