There are just not enough words to describe what an amazing experience this first boudoir photo session with Shannon was! Right from the first point of contact at booking the session, Shannon was amazing at communicating all the necessary details but also many tips and instructions for making this the best experience it could be. She happily answered all my questions, she stayed in touch, and she checked in with me leading up to the date to ensure I had everything I needed to be confident and ready the day of the session. Having never met Shannon nor the hair and makeup artist prior to the session, I have to say they are incredible women who welcomed me in right away! Within minutes I felt like I was just hanging out and chatting with lifelong friends while Shannon explained the process and Leanne took care of my hair and makeup. Thank you Leanne for your incredible skills and helping me to feel gorgeous! Thank you Shannon for helping me to relax and pushing me to find my inner Marilyn Monroe! The whole day was so much fun and felt like it was over with far too soon. Once Shannon helped me find my groove I didn't want to stop. There was much laughter and many excited squeals whenever I achieved the look Shannon was going for or showed the fierceness that she pulled out of me. I'm already looking forward to when I can do this again! If you are on the fence about doing a boudoir shoot or you keep finding excuses to wait like I used to, I have three words ... JUST DO IT! I cannot say it enough that everyone should have this experience and take this chance to feel and look incredible and see themselves in a beautiful new way. The boudoir experience was something I needed to do for me; I took the chance because I deserve it and you do too! Amazing photographer, incredible woman, best experience ever!

Having a session with Shannon is unlike any other! She helps you see yourself as the magnificent being you are, and not what society says you should be. I have had the opportunity to have a couple of sessions and will be going back for more as I love everything she represents and provides in her safe studio space.

I have spent many years struggling with my self-confidence. I started following Shannon's Facebook group in the hopes that it could help my start my journey. I attended her Digging Deep Workshop, which helped me start challenging my self-doubt. With the continued help of the group I started chiseling away of the story I had built up around myself. I was fortunate enough to be able to book a session with Shannon, which was one of the scariest things I have chosen to do. I delayed the session, Covid delayed the session, and then I finally had to take the leap. I had felt I needed to be in the "right" state of mind, or the "right" weight", or the "right" whatever else, but it was just not true. I had to choose to start loving myself "right" now. In the months, weeks, days leading up to my session Shannon walked me through my anxieties. She asked why I wanted to do the photo session, which was to try to see myself in a new way. She challenged and supported me to hold onto that, to be accountable to that, to show up for myself. I showed up for my session with all of the "rights" ringing loudly in my ears. I fully expected to dislike all of my photos, not because of Shannon's skills, but because I was not going to be able to see past my flaws. After the initial embarrassment of being mostly undressed in front of her wears off, it felt safe and comfortable. She talks to you a lot, so you do not spend too much time in your head. During the reveal, Shannon continued to hold me accountable to my goals - continued to encourage me to show up for myself. And guess what?! I love my pictures. I had a hard time narrowing them down. I have started to see myself differently. I am proud of myself. I did this for me!

Shannon is so kind and welcoming. She makes your experience fun, sexy, healthy, and empowering. She stands out from other photographers because she gently does body coaching when reviewing your images. She is intelligent and inspiring. I only wish I had more time! ?

I had a boudoir session with Shannon and it was the most beautiful experience I have had in a long time. Her images are stunning, her coaching for the shots and for your reaction to them is grounding, body positive, joyful and inspirational. I highly recommend this wonderful service. Shannon's make up artist Leeanne Smith is phenomenal and made me look amazing.

We went for Shannon's "Love Your People" mini session because I wanted to capture the relationship between my grandmother and my son - it was fantastic. She's wonderful at getting people to talk about and show real emotion, and does a fabulous job capturing those feelings in photos. I will treasure them forever.

My experience with Shannon was so fun, upbeat and empowering. She takes time to explain why you're doing what you're doing even if it sounds silly. Shannon starts preparing you long before your appointment, she has regular check-ins and makes recommendations for color, style, material etc. Shannon makes sure to take the time to laugh and enjoy the time with you. The wardrobe options are extraordinary, she'll pull a few and you will immediately feel more excited. She gets to know you very well in such a short period, and you feel super comfortable around her. Shannon makes herself vulnerable as well, telling personal stories and experiences, especially on her own body positive journey. Shannon takes time to make sure you're happy, comfortable and having fun. Looking at the photos after the shoot, she doesn't say much, because she is genuinely trying to understand which photos you love or hate and why.... to be fair, I don't think I hated any. I had Leanne do my hair and make-up and I looked like a super star. She really focuses on enhancing your natural beauty. Leanne also takes time to ask questions and get to know you. All around a wonderful experience. I have nothing negative to say except I am sad I cannot go there every day. I will note that I typically don't like being the center of attention, but this was quite a bit different, and I enjoyed the entire day.

My session was an incredible experience from start to finish. Shannon’s mentoring gave me the confidence to have a session done to begin with! My day was amazing, and I honestly felt like Shannon captured me. Many different aspects of me. Sometimes soft and beautiful to fierce to fun and even to sultry. I love my images so much. Shannon is an extremely creative and gifted Artist that I trust completely.
