★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was delighted by my visit to the charming "Canada 150" exhibition at this community gallery in a stately Victorian building. Particularly by the discovery that the works featured were all a part of the permanent collection. Caulder, Milne, Thompson, A.Y. Jackson, Augustus John and were among a few of the highly accomplished painters featured. Do not miss out on the intimate and friendly experience this Gallery offers. A must-see for any trip to Cobourg!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Art Gallery of Northumberland is a treasure in the heart of downtown Cobourg. As it is located in the beautiful Victoria Hall it allows for an opportunity to spend time in this historic building. The changing exhibitions the gallery holds always bring something new to this community space and often highlight the amazing works of local and internationally acclaimed artists. As well the AGN's permanent collection holds many renowned pieces I was both surprised and excited to see. The space is cozy and allows for a place to truly reflect on the artwork and interact with members of the community. As well the AGN is a fantastic family space that is always welcoming and fun. The volunteers and staff at the AGN make the space inviting and the ongoing events are a must attend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ the art gallery is a great and fun place to bring your friends and family, although a little small it is fun to visit and co-op in. everyone there is very nice and always smiling. the curator caitlyn is always very welcoming and 10/10 would co-op again if i could. she is a very hard worker and strives to make the gallery a fun and knowledgeable experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool exhibits and a very chilled ambiance. The gentleman at the desk was super friendly and informative! The art gallery is on the upper level of the building, and there is a small space for children to hang out and play. More improvements and updates are coming soon, but it's definitely worth checking out if you've got some time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great little gallery within the magnificent Victoria Hall.
At the time we visited there was an exhibit of illustrations of Robert Motherwell and poems of Octavio Paz... famous names...
it also has a Children’s corner for the little ones to express their creativity and a shop featuring local artists pieces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The downside is how small the gallery is. Very nice exhibits from local artists and a nice little shop. There is a creative play area for the kids too. Free admission, so if you are in the building, or adventuring around Cobourg, stop in.
