Following year discovered fading and rubber shedding...little rubber balls shed and end up on pool bottom so constantly have to vacuum up. Was told about need to seal the deck to brighten colour and help with the shedding. The job was botched so badly we lost last month of summer pool use. Took a year for wrong product to come out. Decks were resealed properly but appears it needs to be sealed EVERY year at $750 a pop! But can’t get a response from Armadillo to even come out and do the work needed, guess they’re too busy doing new jobs worth more profit. While it’s nice to have rubber around the pool for the non slip benefit, I wouldn’t recommend this product around a pool because of the huge maintenance required to keep it nice and the lack of someone to come out to do the work. Ended up buying the sealer online for a DIY project...worked great and soooo much cheaper.

We were well informed about what we could expect from a rubber surface and the result has exceeded our expectations. Bruce came and did the job himself with one assistant and it was completed in a day. Simone answered all the questions I had and gave us good advice. Bruce and his crew did a great job. They arrived on time, and worked hard all day to get the job finished. The prep work and the clean up work was excellent as well. We are very pleased with the results. Our stairs look great and feel great to walk on.

The Armadillo crew led by the owner Bruce came in to deal with our deck which was a sorry state to say the least. By the end of the day the deck had been repaired and laid ready for the next day's work. Bruce's crew cleaned their work area, leaving our driveway clean& tidy. Back the next day. Stage #2. Prepping the undercoating solution to waterproof our decking was poured and troweled into place. It was fun to watch the transition take place. The undercoating was left to set and once again the Armadillo crew left the area tidy. Each day i was kept informed on the process and all my questions were answered by Bruce -Armadillo's owner. Stage #3. The last day was the laying of the Armadillo Rubber coating. Watching the final process was amazing. Bruce led his crew showing them step by step training them in the process and procedures involved. Seeing the transition of our deck was a delight. Once again the Armadillo crew cleaned & tidied up then taped off a barrier to our deck -to allow for the final setting to stay safe. We were kept totally informed on timeline for curing. Bruce from Armadillo gave us peace of mind throughout the whole process. Our Deck looks totally awesome now, and to top it off it came in under budget.
