Our Transitional Employment Program
During the early years of operation, it was evident that an employment piece was needed. At this point, our Transitional Employment Program (TEP) was created. The TEP is a skill-building program that is aimed at rebuilding confidence and self-esteem. This is based out of the Selkirk Support Centre and the satellite centres. An opening evaluation is completed with the participant outlining employment skills and goals they wish to achieve. Evaluations are done on a quarterly basis to keep the program focused on the individual’s goals. Upon completion of the program, an exit evaluation is completed by the Program Director along with the participant. A Certificate of Achievement is presented and ongoing support is provided as needed.
