Best Campground in Canada

L	Lucas Kaiser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent two days at this beautiful campground on a lovely river in Oliver. The hosts Marylin and Gary were one of the most open-hearted and friendly canadian people we met on our three-week trip through Canada. All sites were equipped with power, water, and sewer. As Oliver is in one of the warmest areas in Canada, you can sit by the lake during the day or the evenings and enjoy a beautiful view in a quiet area. Thank you both so much for a really really cool evening. We hope to see you again when we come back (hopefully) in 2020 :) Regards from Germany!

B	Bill Gu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very friendly, clean and quiet RV site. You won't see any yahoos around. Totally opposite to the RV on the other side of the lake. Very reasonable rate. Kind of off beaten path as it's in Oliver. Wineries just down the road. Will definitely come back!

Because of COVID, I’m not able to travel to the USA this year (2020), so I needed to find a spot in B.C. to get away from the Alberta cold. I found a spot at Apple Beach in Oliver. What a find?. (Don’t believe the bad reviews from some of the posts about the park. I 100% RV now and trust me, I’ve see bad Parks, and this is definitely not one of them). 1) The owners of the park are very nice and very helpful (Gary & Marilyn). 2) washrooms and laundry mat are always clean. 3) Gary makes a walk around the park several times a day to make sure everyone is following the rules and to take care of any issues that may come up. 4) A lot of the people that are staying over for the winter here have been coming back from 10 to 15 years now. I would say about 95% of them are from Albert. There you have it. A lot more to say, put I may run out of room. ? Stay safe, but don’t forget to enjoy life. Non of us know how long we have here. We thought the sites are pretty small and close one to another, we could hear the TV from the RV next to us. There is a super nice seating area and a small beach, but no play area for kids. Also, we were disappointed to hear that dogs are not aloud on the beach. We used the washing machine and regret for doing so, didn't really clean anything.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Very clean and quiet. Beautiful spots to sit by the lake. We will definitely be back.
R	Roberta Kihn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stay at Apple Beach. Hosts Gary and Marilyn were so helpful. Nice clean campsite, washrooms and laundry facilities. Lots of seating areas on the beach. Only downfall was the wifi was intermittent. All in all a pefect little campsite for a relaxing stay.
G	Guy Scott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great serene place with awesome hosts. We loved our stay here, lots of birds to entertain you, whether in the trees or on the lake. Quiet setting, we came in early May, they were putting flowers out and getting ready for high season. Some full time residents which is nice. Well kept, they even have a tv box you can rent. Will come back for sure. Many thanks.
