★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vancouver new music puts on amazing concerts at the annex. Black box theatre with very raked seats. There are very few bad seats. And the overflow is above the stage. I have had many a transcend experience sitting in those seats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to a piano concert at the Annex. The venue is really nice and the staff are professional. The bartenders at the concession stand were great, they made drinks for us that weren't even in the menu and they were nice enough to make some chocolate milk for the under 19 year olds, lol. They had nesquik chocolate syrup behind the counter so of course we're gonna ask, lol. All in all it was a great even at a great venue. Would definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small, tucked away theatre that allows for an intimate viewing experience with like-minded folks. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and presentation here, especially considering how the seats run right up to the stage; and without the performing stage being raised, it creates a more immersive show, giving actors the ability to more easily interact with the audience. The area is clean, voices project, and the shows are interesting, wonderful theatre! I did not see a food or drink concession, but it wasn't a bother considering the innumerable options up and down the street. It's also wheelchair accessible, with a few spaces reserved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice venue to see a show ( plus it has a bar). Lobby area seemed a bit cramped but then again we were there to see a sold out performance and they had yet to open the doors. The theater was well thought out with attention to detail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just saw "So Dam Proud" by Justin Neal. It was a great evening, my sons and I had a fun time! Driving downtown at night was busy and finding parking was the tuff part.
