★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was attracted to this place simply because of its family owners and I can taste the love in the cooking. The pasta is delicious, with interesting combinations of ingredients not typical of a North American style Italian restaurant. Favourites were the fried calamari, anchovies and olives pasta, and the gnocchi. We still need to try their pizza!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came at 9:28pm on a Saturday when they supposedly close at 11:00pm and was told by the waitress out front that we couldn’t dine in since the kitchen was closed. We asked to clarify with another waitress and she told us we could dine on the patio but not inside.
Found out later that there were actually a lot of open tables inside (see picture) but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that half of the restaurant was “closed” by 9:28pm.
Service was ok — no bread, one or two check-ins. The food portions were big so there’s that. Saw the waitresses interacting a lot with the tables inside so maybe service is actually better for certain demographics lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food, service and atmosphere! We tried the Cosentina pizza (tomato sauce base topped with tasty bocconcini and slightly thick lean prosciutto) which was amazing. The Spaghetti Chittarra is made with a tomato basil sauce that is extremely authentic and just about the best you can expect to find at a restaurant. Last but not least, the prices are very reasonable. This place is a must-try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very pleasant experience. Authentic atmosphere and great food! We ordered fettuccine Mare Mondo and they were so good! Perfect balance of flavors and portions is good for 2 people. We also had pizza but the pasta beats it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty food, reasonable price and very generous portion size; a family run Italian restaurant in Vaughan.
The risotto el funghi that I had was perfectly cooked. The risotto rice was soft and a bit chewy, exactly the way I like it and the mushroom aroma permeating from the risotto was just wonderful.
To finish, our party ordered two cheese cakes and a tiramisu. The tiramisu had a strong coffee taste which contrasted the sweetness of the cream, it was one of the best tiramisu I had in a long while. An order of cheese cake had six shot glass size of miniature cakes of about 2 to 3 small bites worth, perfect for sharing, although the cheeses were not outstanding.
We were there on a Wednesday night and it was not busy at all, but I heard the wait can be long on weekend nights.
