I brought my ailing beagle "Hunter" into the Animal Rehab Centre (ARC) to have his hind legs rehabbed. He had muscle scarring and inflammation in his rear legs, which was getting worse and caused him great pain. That is until I started bringing him to ARC. Over a series of session he gradually improved. Today, over a year after is last session he is happy and much healthier. Many thanks to Tracy and the gang at ARC, and I would highly recommend them to anyone with doggies in need of rehabilitation. Five stars all the way!!!

My dog Murphy could barely take three steps before she attended ARC. Tracy and her team are teue miracle workers. Murphy's mobility and happiness is night and day. I rely on a wheelchair for mobility so there is only so much I can do to assist her, being a 97pound Akita/Labrador. I can only rave about these wondeful women who have put thw wag back in Murphy's tail and a big smile on my face and in my heart. The help me up harness is a great tool for someone like me especially

The staff here has always been very helpful and friendly. The rehab work I've seen had been professionally done with great sensitivity. I typically come here for the 'help em up harness' which is by far the best harness I've seen for a physically challenged dog.

I was referred to ARC from the VEC for my dog to have physio to improve quality of life while dealing with progressive hind limb weakness (unconfirmed diagnosis but at 15 years I wasn’t going to put her under a general anesthesia for imaging). Tracy has a long waiting list and couldn’t get us in right away but she referred us to a mobile physio service run by one of the part time employees at ARC and that worked well especially as they were able to communicate behind the scenes to come up with a comprehensive care plan. Our initial assessment at ARC had to be postponed several times as my dog developed an acute respiratory infection which she is still battling but even without us technically being clients, Tracy made herself available to me via phone, email and text. She also troubled shooted with me for products to aid with mobility. By the time my dog finally had her initial assessment she had been seen recently by multiple specialists at VEC (ER, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology); her primary vet and even chiropractor and each one is signing off on their service because they are looking at the one body system that is their specialty, I needed Tracy as someone who deals with the quality of life of our pets on a daily basis to affirm what I was seeing in that her little body just couldn’t fight any more. She referred me to a mobile hospice and palliative vet who will work with me to ensure my girl has the best quality of life in the time she has left. So while we weren’t long term patients of ARC, I can’t speak highly enough of Tracy.

If more stars were available this place deserves it. My black lab Max has been dealing with the progression of arthritis and the last few months have been difficult for him. He's always excited to get to the park which is only a few blocks away but getting through 2 intersections has made him hesitant to go because I'm having to almost choke him to get across in time which looks like I'm abusing him. My vet said their supplier is no longer carrying the type of harness needed but showed me some pics of what to look for and what not to get. I found this centre online and was there same day and attended to by 3 lovely, caring professional ladies. Max was fitted in no time at all and he usually doesn't like being handled by strangers so the staff have the knack. I was given a tour of the other facilities including the treadmill pool. The harness is brilliantly designed. Getting Max in and out of the car is a breeze. No interference with his ability to relieve himself and the well placed handles make getting through intersections safe. Best part is Max is back at the park! He also seems very proud of the device and we went to his vet and I highly recommended their services.

Simply the best. Knowledgeable, empathetic, compassionate care for your dog. Incredible service and support. Bailey had TPLO surgery on both knees and the treatment she received at ARC was essential to her recovery. Highly recommended!

I recommend Animal Rehabilitation Centre to everyone dog owner I know. Whether they have a specific physical issue to fix, or would like to enhance their dog's health proactively, ARC is fantastic. Technically, they are extremely knowledgeable, and they support that with an array of human-grade equipment. The core seems to be their water therapy, which my dog Ciro loved, but they also have everything from bosu balls to low poles to walk over, and everything in between. Ciro also loved the laser treatment at the end. The other side of this is the people. Tracy the owner and her team, Jen and Pam, made Ciro love to go to physio. I was always so touched by how gentle and caring they were with Ciro. He loved them. I know they truly cared for him. And me. We received great support when we needed it. My dog was almost 15 when we started, and they helped fix a shoulder issue in a matter of weeks. Then, at 15 1/2 he got back surgery, and despite his age, with rigorous physio, he was walking fantastically after just three months. It was amazing. Then we just went on with the therapy because Ciro loved it and it was good for his overall well-being. He never showed signs of arthritis, even at 16. I highly recommend ARC!
