★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This amazing place has become my favourite place to go for seafood in the east end. Owners are extremely friendly and I love that, super passionate about it he food they serve and they also have great wine. I took my kids there and they were extremely accommodating with a family of 4. I have had some nights with grown ups only and we have had great experiences all the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, the best restaurant we have been to in a while. Maybe it was the perfect day, with the perfect patio. Maybe it was the incredibly jovial and super friendly answer on the phone when we called while on the highway in to see if there was space. Maybe it was the simple but solid beer offering. Or the great appetizer suggestions (had the calamari, obviously). Or our meals of the shrimp burger and fish & chips.
Or maybe, it was all these things that just made this a perfect date night (or a hang with your favourite people). Highly recommend you visit while in Leslieville. Or make it a destination. Worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff (just look at the awesome reply to this review!) and top notch comfort seafood. We had the haddock and chips, hot crab dip, and shrimp burger with fries (supposed to be a salad, but we aren’t mad about more fries). The shrimp burger was a touch on the small side but otherwise it was all excellent, well portioned, and very tasty. We’re looking forward to coming back to check out the patio!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience at Anglr! Everything we ordered was super tasty and beautiful. Shrimp dumplings were so good we ordered them twice! Server was attentive and had good recommendations. Cozy on the inside with nice lighting. Will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a gem of Leslieville! We dined at their cozy patio that had heaters as it was a bit chilly. The service was excellent. And the food was amazing. The best fish and chips we've had in a long time, it literally melts in your mouth, so crispy and fresh. Calamari and shrimp tacos were also great and we enjoyed the shrimp dumplings as well. Their red wine sangria is delicious. Will definitely be back!
