This little shop epitomizes everything community health food stores used to be - a place where community members & neighbors feel very welcome & included, where customers & staff share conversations & good energy, where customer feedback is really heard & welcome, along with a great selection of personal care products, groceries, snacks, bulk herbs, supplements, a great cooler section, kitchen tools, and healthy & delicious takeout-food. Veronica puts a great deal of time, work & heart into stocking her store with the highest quality, locally made / Canadian made products, which her customers love. We all benefit when business is done this way ? If you're walking by & have the munchies, try a healthy, warm, absolutely DELICIOUS savory waffle slathered in hummus & locally harvested nettle pesto with a side of hot, freshly made soup. Tastes amazing, and good for the body & soul ♥️ Or a Mayan hot chocolate with a dash of chili pepper, which is perfect on a cold, blustery day. There's a whole lot of heart & good energy infusing this little health food store, and everyone working here does their utmost to share that heart & good energy with anyone who walks in the door. Thank you Veronica, Genevieve, Mark & all the other staff who make this my go-to local shop every week. If we want more stores like this in our communities, we need to make it a personal priority to support businesses & business owners like this in whatever way we're able ?
