Who We Are

Our services include a Shelter and Detox facility, Outreach Programs, and Housing Programs with intensive case management. The scope of our work is a direct intersection of homelessness, addiction and mental and physical health issues. We undertake programs to support improving the lives of vulnerable individuals while simultaneously having a positive impact on the broader community through dedicated responses to social issues.

For over 40 years, we have helped people with addictions. Innovation is at the core of what we do as we look to respond to the ever-changing needs of those we serve and the broader community of which we are a part.

Good people doing good work there, helping out the down trodden and the less fortunate in society. Keep up the excellent work!!

As an employee I absolutely love working here and am passionate about those I serve! Alpha truly does amazing work for the vulnerable.

Being an outreach Worker myself I know alpha house rep. They work harder and deal with those in most immediate need 24/7! And congrats on getting a 2nd van for DOAP TEAM!!!! Relentless, never giving up staff! Thank you alpha house for all you do for Calgary!

There is the simple fact most been there for years, and do pray on the new, it's not just the men women too!! To those I'm speaking off don't think twice about what they can get for new meat!! The staff at the alfa house are amazing people,they do what they can with what they got. There should be rules if you are getting disability every month they shouldn't be aloud to keep staying at the shelters. Guess being selfish greedy gluttons is a good thing!! It's been years and I honestly it still bothers me. I'm so grateful I was able to get away. Some people like me who are gulable will get eat up spit out. Some good people most are just looking for there next victim to get what they can out of them very dangerous wish they would do something to make these shelters safe for everyone.
