★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very difficult situation caused by speciality work I had done by another proffessional. Dr.Sean, my current dentist at Alexander welcomed me to come and share my concerns. On my frustrated initial phone call Christine in reception was empathetic and so very kind. My appointed he spent unhurried time with me and we came up with a plan above and beyond my expectations. This did involve any future income for Dr. Sean, yet he treated me in a caringness to ensure my success in the future. This place really cares about their patients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are always pleasant and professional. I really appreciate how Dr. McEvoy talks me through the procedure before and during. Today I asked for 'light' freezing (which I'm not sure is an actual thing) but he nailed it. Comfortable procedure and freezing wore off in half the time as usual.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not impressed at all with the service. Receptionist who booked my appt set it up for another client with the same name. Receptionist said I had a medical history on file but it needed to be updated and the hygienist said there was nothing in my file. I'm not comfortable discussing my medical history with someone who isn't a doctor, but the hygienist insisted she needed to know this to clean my teeth. I don't know the hygienist's name because she didn't bother introducing herself to me yet expected me to divulge my medical info to her. I had been a client for a number of years, my previous appt was disappointing in my getting a dentist who I hadn't dealt with and who didn't bother introducing himself. I also got a bill that I hadn't been advised wouldn't be covered by my plan, but figured I give it another go.
Not what I would call a friendly atmosphere anymore. I left without getting work done and will not be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down. Best place in salmon arm . Friendly staff. Honest answers. Sean McAvoy and his team really try to help you and your family. 2 thumbs up. I recommend to.anyone needing a fair priced and honest dentist . Gentle. Forgiving and works with you to get your mouth healthy .
