★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great trail to the old town of Aldermere, less that a kilometer up the trail. Not quite wheelchair friendly because the bridge has a little step up. We used a few small branchs to get over. Nice historical plaque and signs at Aldermere. Watch out for bears.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I actually live on the Aldermere Trail and have walked it many times. It is a nice place to walk a dog (on leash) and really nothing difficult. There are many small trails that branch off of the main Aldermere Trail most though are just animal trails. The only thing is be careful about bears. I have had many run ins with bears and especially don't feed them.
