★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yes, it's a landfill, but its the most charming landfill you'll ever see. Having used the transfer stations in the GVRD this place is positively delightful - it looks like a park (granted the parks I go to don't have electrified fencing - but still). The drive through the woods to get to the landfill is great and the prices were good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You are greeted by the loveliest assistant it's clean lol and you can drop off an old bike if you don't need it, or pick one up of you need to. Mine was stolen and I couldn't believe my luck when I found one next to new although mine was better I'm happy to the Alberni dump for thinks ng of people with this programme. Also when I say free I mean free ,they don't weigh ya with it on your truck, way to go !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very busy today. Teller on this afternoon was rude with an attitude. She refused to believe I was under 100kg (220lbs) as I said I was and made me come back to the scale when finished. It was 40kg.. Thanks for wasting everyone's time. Treated me like I was inept, stupid, or a liar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily the most festive dump I've ever been to. They were all decked out for Halloween and so many decorations that anyone visiting couldn't help but smile. I'm just worried about the coffin they had propped up by the recycling bins - being a dump, I'm genuinely concerned about where they got it from. Anywho, I'd like to be buried here when I die.
