★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I went in to Al-Nadwa institute to find out more about the classes for myself and my wife. The sign outside said "Open" and it was 5:30pm in the evening on a Tuesday (another sign said open 4 to 8pm). I was excited to obtain more information after browsing the website but some of the links were broken so I wanted to speak with someone in person. When I tried to open the door, it was locked. There was a lady sitting at the front desk so I waved to get her attention. To my shock, she came over to the glass door and wouldn't open the door. She asked what I wanted (from what I could make out from the thick glass door) and I explained that I wanted some information on classes. She said to go to the website. I tried to explain that I had already tried that and wanted to speak with someone but not sure what she could hear through the door. She pointed to the posters on the wall. I took a quick look then walked home utterly disappointed. I was really looking forward to expanding my Islamic knowledge at Al-Nadwa institute as there are some great instructors listed on the website. The purpose of my rant is for Al-Nadwa to have an open door policy for anyone looking to learn about Islam. Jazakallah!
