About Ajax NDT Inspection Services Inc

It was 12 years ago that I found out that the company I was working for as an NDT Technician for Crane Inspections was being sold to a U.S. based Business. My position was going to be axed.

I was newly married and went from a secure career, to wondering what I am going to do now. My Employer told me that there were two options moving forward.

1. Go and stand in the E.I line and find new employment, or

2. Be my own boss, and they would hire me as a contractor.

It was an easy choice, but like all good things, it was a rough start. If you have ever tried building a business from scratch, it is a 24/7 process. So, after bouts of anger, self-perseverance, grit, and a wee bit of bourbon, I was able to transform myself into a successful small business owner. Opportunity did not come easy; I had to knock on many doors and in some cases I had to build a door and knock on it. The one thing I have learnt over the years is this, you do not build a business; you build relationships; And then those relationships build the business. You need to respect yourself and others.

So here I am 12 years later, still married, succeeding, and slowly growing and loving what I do!!!!

I just thought you should know that your consideration in accepting this job and helping us last minute was a life saver. It is extremely frustrating when we live so far out,and there is nothing quality or affordable enough to us, close to home ,for a service. The fact that you came last minute and the REPORTS!!!!!!! Paul, we got them the next day. We have never got our paperwork back so fast. We were able to continue work without sitting around. I told my husband to write a review, but I think it would have been just a thumbs up. So people need to know about your company. You have a very nice website. Unfortunately there really was no "Inspection Services" that anyone could refer to me, so I reluctantly needed to go to the internet! All I could find were Large Business with Large Jobs, photos of Huge Projects. I came across Ajax NDT. Their specialty is even more that the job that I had, but they did have a great review, for a small job, so I gave them a call. Wasn't sure if I was still to small of a Job for them to consider. Paul took my call. He was busy at a job at the moment but asked that I text him my needs and contact info. Within 3 hours he texted me back, Confirmed that he could see me the next day, (as I was on route to another job) First thing in the morning we met! WOW! He offered expert advice. His honesty with the amount of work and the cost of the project, allowed us to make a decision for this small job. Knowing that we didn't want to move forward with a expensive modifications, to meet compliance. Now we know! I would recommend Ajax.
