★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being a Dirt Jump noob I didn’t feel intimidated, rented a bike and cased jumps all night until I vaguely got the hang of it. The owner is very cool and it’s open late so go on a week night and have the place almost to yourself. Great fun; I’m going to come back and try a few laps on my trail bike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm new to dirt jumping and air rec has Multiple lines to choose from on the dirt jump side to help with progression. from rollers, tables, to full out steeziness on the big doubles. There's even a air bag with two different sized kickers to help boost the confidence or nail down some tricks before takin er to the dirt. Love the fact this place is ten minutes from home and year membership is recommended for best savings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Air rec is awesome! With numerous ramps, an air bag, resi, it’s a dream for bmxers and scooter riders!
There’s a terrific lounge upstairs with couches, tables and chairs. Small snacks are for sale.
The staff are truly amazing! There’s not a single downside to Air Rec- except we wish it was closer to home! lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my Enduro bike here. Rode on my local trails the next week. It was a totally different experience. I was keeping my hands off the brakes and hitting drops like they were tiny. Amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very cool indoor park. Highly skilled. Not for novices or young kids. Apparently no skateboards allowed. Scooter and bike only. It was explained as a possible projectile. I witnessed several scooters flying through the air riderless regardless.
It was pretty cold in there as a spectator. No heat.looks like they had a heater upstairs once. It's been disconnected and doesn't work now.
Price was good and my kids and their friends had a blast for a few hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner and everyone that works here are super friendly and welcoming. Great place with a relaxed vibe. Stoke levels are always high and everyone wants everybody to progress and enjoy the facilities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our kid LOVES the Coquitlam location, but twice now, he has been bullied by either older or bigger kids.
He knows not to retaliate unless forced. Luckily, the two times he was targeted he had his friend with him. He got pushed and he used words to fight back.
When he first started going, he made a couple friends, so we kept going back, but the bullying started recently.
There usually are no workers around to stop this behaviour. They all hangout upstairs in the shop just looking at the tv screen (live feed from the camera), and they don’t intervene.
I think they should have a worker situated in the skating area at all time, to be able to monitor the behaviour of kids. I understand boys will be boys, but without supervision, someone can really get hurt.
I want to give it a 1 star for the bad experiences but, he still loves going here so 3 is all I will give. Will edit once I see that they have staff on site at all times.
