Dr. Colangelo is the best. And I love that everyone who treats people there, are females. Good job ladies :)

I feel like it is a huge waste of time calling this place, you are put on hold for 10 minutes and then hung up on, call back only be put on hold again then when you finally get thru it is another battle to get an appointment, I understand how there are "busy times" but here it seems like it is always the "busy" time - I used to have a really good doctor patient relationship when I was seeing Dr Colangelo plus she was also very accessible when I really needed her as I experience various health issues. She really listened to what you said and actually heard you, I started seeing Dr W now I am seeing Dr Chan...........words cannot describe the frustration I feel.....I do not feel like I am being heard, so much that my condition is deteriorated to a degree so bad it scares me what is going to happen next....I feel like a broken record running out of juice. It is a horrible feeling. It just feels like it does not matter anymore. Cause if it does not matter to her then what is the point? And she just so nonchalantly gives the most simplest answer like it is nothing like "yeeeeah well--just do this." Like really? Do you really think it is that easy? I just feel like everything is minimized and brushed off, like I am not being heard. It is so frustrating because I am scared of losing the most important things in my life because my doctor will not listening to me and brushing me off like I am nothing just a huge lack of support and that's what you goto the doctor for....

I do not recommend ever going to this clinic. Their phone doesn't work so if you need to make an appointment with your doctor you just simply can't. Just sucks for you I guess. They have extremely terrible communication, and like most medical facilities, dont care about their patients and easily let them fall through the cracks. They don't inform you of important medical information or results, nor are very helpful at gleaming what is wrong with you regardless. I personally at least like to be able to speak to my doctor, even if they're going to tell me they know nothing, I don't know about anybody else.

Good luck getting through on the phone. During business hours instead of putting you on hold the system just hangs up on you. I tried the 24 hour "emergency" line twice this weekend and both times I waited on hold for 3 to 4 hours. Needless to say I never got through to anyone. Why are the phone wait times as bad as the hospital wait times? Does someone even work that line when the offices are closed? Typical WRHA, it's free health care but you'll suffer before you're helped.
