Chairman & Managing Director
Vijay Iyengar is the Chairman and Managing Director of Agrocorp International.
Vijay Iyengar holds an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Mumbai) and an MBA from Cornell University. He was the Chairman of the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( 2009- 2011) , Vice Chairman of Singapore Business Federation ( 2008-2010 ) and is currently the Executive Vice President of the Global Pulse Confederation.
Vijay Iyengar has spoken at various sugar, grains and pulses global conferences which includes being the keynote speaker at the International Grains Forum 2010 in Perth and being invited by the Government of Saskatchewan to speak at the Agriculture Trade Summit held in Saskatoon, Canada in 2014. He also spoke at the World Agricultural Forum and FT Live Commodities 2017 held in Singapore. In 2018, he spoke at the Global Pulses Convention in Sri Lanka.
With over 30 years of multinational experience in commodities trading, Vijay Iyengar has steered the company to be a leading global mover of Agri commodities.
