Excellent place to relax and get away from routine. Super clean cabins, friendly hosts and great amenities close by. We’ll definitely return.

This place is simply amazing, used their shuttle services to kayak down the Spanish river, Jan and Gaitan were extremely knowledgeable and helpful for never paddled down the river. shuttle service was professional and stress free. tent camped overnight to get an early start to the day and no issues at all, bathrooms were clean and working. i cannot imagine using any other shuttle service for paddling the Spanish river

Love this place. The new owners are absolutely amazing too! So polite and kind. What more can you ask for? Great view, clean, nice people.. heaven.

My annual trip to Agnew Lake was a little different this year. With all the restrictions because of the virus, my stay was postponed for several weeks. Only a few of the cabins were occupied as the borders were still closed. My cabin was very clean and tidy, with a great view of my dock and the lake. The fishing was very good and the weather was wonderful. Looking forward to next year already. Thanks Jan for your kind hospitality. Ron

Have been to Agnew Lake Lodge 6 times. Always have a great time. The cabins are clean plenty of hot water for showers and never any issues with appliances. I always rent a boat and motor and never had any problems. I like that if you run low on gas it will be filled up no problem. It is a very remote place and the lake is quiet , fishing is decent. Nice little beach for swimming. Town is 20 minutes for all your shopping needs. Jan and his family are always there if you need something, wonderful hosts.

My husband and I stayed in cabin #4 week of June 5-12. It was absolutely spotless! We noticed that they bring in a cleaning service in between visitors and wow do they do a great job. There were 2 single beds in our cabin, and we decided to push them together for our stay. When we've done this at other lodges, there has always been noticeable dust bunnies and dirt when we rearrange the room a little. But here? Not a speck. And - bonus - brand new mattresses in all cabins! We slept amazingly. Best mattresses I've ever experienced at a lodge personally and we've been to ALOT of them. Fridge, stove, hot water, everything worked great. We brought our new 24' fishing boat and had some trouble launching it and bringing it in due to some metal parts that sat a few inches too low to clear the ramp. We thought at first we'd have to turn around and go home (6 hour drive) but not a chance - Nathan to the rescue! What a guy. Bent over backwards to help us out, anything we needed, tools, etc. He's your go-to guy! He and his business partners took ownership of the lodge very recently and you can tell how much they really care about their visitors and will do anything to make your experience awesome. Chris actually sacrificed his personal dock spot to let us park our boat there that was a bit too big for our preassigned spot. We couldn't believe how accommodating everyone was, we are truly so grateful for the hospitality. As I said, we've been to a ALOT of lodges and have never had such a great experience. Befire we left, we booked 2 more week-long stays for August and September this year and are bringing our family with us this time. And yes - the fishing is unreal! The pickerel was plentiful this time of year. People were (literally) bringing in garbage bags full of them to gut hut. We will be fishing bass when we come in September so we'll report back on the bass fishing then! Great place, can't say enough good things - if you're on the fence about booking and haven't been here before, just go for it. You won't be disappointed.

My family and I have been coming for 18yrs and now have our own seasonal trailer spot and love every min we get to spend at camp. My parents have been there for 20 yrs and we've met so many wonderful friends and have stayed in touch over the other months.

Haven't stayed here, but took a drive in. New owners appear to be doing a lot of good Reno work on the cottages. It should be a fabulous place when opens in the Spring.
