★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I pray this place closes down. The "owner"? Was very sweet the first time I went. She had someone come in to cornrow my hair; it was nice. The second time, a couple weeks after, it was hell. I was there for 4+ hours and they never finished my hair. Even though I was asking for the exact same thing they did a couple weeks before that took about 1h30(but with a small difference in the back)I wanted the front in big cornrows and the back in big singles so I can put it up in a bun.simple. At around 10pm I lost it. She was still doing the front 4hours later, 3-4 extra packs of braids later and not even done! I had an anxiety attached, cried, said thats enough. I payed the owner 100+$(she was saying how the worker needed to be payed) and I stormed out. Big mistake. I snapped out of it and walked back in, asking for my money back. We argued, then I told her to call the police; my phone was dead. She called the police
and they came. They said they couldn't do anything.
Fast forward the next day, the cornrows that were done were coming out, FROM THE ROOT! Of course my hair ripped out.
I ignored all the signs. I never should have gone here. Horrible place. I haven't even explained all of it. God will judge them.
Ps: they were eating pizza and fries while doing my hair...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ladies at this salon are so friendly and pleasant to be around. I had a wonderful experience with them yesterday and my hair turned out even better than I expected.
I knew I was going to be there for several hours so I brought myself some reading material. Well, I never got a chance to open my book because I chatted with the staff the entire time. Real girls talk !! We shared so many great laughs, it was therapeutic. The owner and stylists are gems. They make you feel right at home. Though we talked a lot, the job got done in record time. I was there for only half the time I expected to be there.
I will be going back for sure !!
