β β β β β We have worked with Shari for 2+ years. My daughter started with her at age 3 when she was diagnosed with a significant language delay. Shari has been loving, kind, patient and yet very professional. The progress our daughter has made is astounding. Recently she was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Shari has been a huge support and an amazing resource for us in that regard. Our 8 yr old son has met with Shari briefly and now meets with Emily for sound errors. She's very professional and yet so much fun that he looks forward to his appointments! We've been impressed with his progress since starting with her. Carlie is also very warm and friendly as we come through the door.

β β β β β Advantage Speech and Language is a one of the best speech providers in BC. Their SLPβs are all professional, reliable, and highly qualified. They provide quality therapy to their clients and deliver with sheer competence. Their communication with clients is superb and they always return phone calls and emails right away. Their collaborative relationships with other service providers are very successful and a much needed service for families and children affected by ASD. I highly recommend this service to any family needing speech and language therapy for their child.

β β β β β Don't know how this place has so many good reviews to be honest with you. Would give a zero if I could. Personally had the worst experience with them. Got shifted to a brand new SLP the SAME day as appointment. We were told initially that we would be seeing the director (aka the one who has all the great reviews). Personally was not impressed with our SLP. Could be a recent graduate? Or New to the Company? Not sure, but not a great way to be introduced to the company. Obviously I have to take some if the blame. Should have done my research on the SLP they switched us to. My expectations were high of the Company with the 5 star reviews and business awards. Should have used common sense and realise that people generally do not leave mediocre reviews.
Told everyone I could that we wanted to use my extended health benefits prior to my autism funding. Even had a phone conversation with someone who supposedly was in charge of all the funding. Thought we had come to an agreement/understanding. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Could have been a big misunderstanding but did not appreciate the way it was dealt with in the slightest. Was left a voicemail that made me no longer deal with her at all.
Sincerely hope this will only be my experience with the company and not anyone else's. I have personally decided to part ways. For anyone considering using this company I would urge you to see Sheri as she is the only one with the good reviews.

β β β β β My son has been working with Shari Linde for almost 2 years I cannot rave enough about the positive changes I have seen in his speech and his overall confidence in socializing.
Shari is amazing at what she does! She is kind, professional , compassionate and just great at what she does. I would recommend Advantage Speech to anyone looking for a well run, dedicated and talented group of speech professionals for themselves or their loved ones.

My child loved going to her sessions and the patient, kind approach worked extremely well.
Being informed regularly on my childβs progress was a bonus.
I did not hesitate to share this ressource with other friends whose children needed a boost.

I arranged for my granddaughter to have sessions to correct a lisp and she worked with Kate who was excellent ?Professional, warm, patient and so encouraging! The improvement was noticeable after only a couple of sessions and my granddaughter bonded with her immediately. High five to Shari and her entire staff!

β β β β β Our family engaged Sheri Linde and her team to help first with my now 13 year old and later my 5 year old to administer an independent SLP assessment. Both girls have a genetic issue that affected their speech severely. Sheri and her practice were highly recommended by several private-sector clinical therapists and educators as having the skills to assess, diagnose and treat my children. After her assessment she agreed to take on the girls. And the rest is history... Both girls have beautiful control over their language and are able to communicate and contribute at school and in their social life. Our youngest went from no speech at all to beautiful articulate conversations. We received amazing services from Sheri as well as her team. We found her team to be very skilled and enthusiastic. The communication with Elizabeth (admin) is very good. Thank you for all that you do for us!
