Better PR than any other hospital in the City of Edmonton. I am at this facility for work at minimum one day per week. My patients get the best treatment here than anywhere else.

Located in Edmonton, the University of Alberta has many different buildings that they run out of. I have been to the Medical Side, and it is definitely in need of some repairs and updates.. Seems over used and not weΔΊl maintained throughout the year... Parking is also a nightmare and pretty expensive, but what Medical facility these days isn't?! Wish my world renowned Rheumatologist was at a better location, but when you are getting the best doctor in his field, all the way from overseas, you accept the condition of the building itself and are grateful for being able to see him in the first place! Without this doctor here, my rating would be a 1-Star...

Extremely poor student service for international students. My nephew got an offer letter from engineering that got cancelled after he came to Edmonton from Dhaka. They told him there is nothing they can do since the required GPA threshold has moved up from 82% to 85%. My question is why did they issue him the offer letter at the first place. Good thing he had an engineering offer letter from another university in Ottawa where he moved later on after the financial loss due to renting a room in Edmonton.

The University as a whole is a scam.... and this is no different. Make you pay a bunch of money for parking and then purposely under staff the administration building so you either; a) get frustrated and leave before being helped, b)forget to plug the ticket because you figured there was no world in which it would take 60+ minutes to fulfill a simple request, or C) have to leave the queue to re-up your ticket and it is at the exact moment you leave that they magically call your number. And then when you finally get helped you get helped (I loosely use that term) by some snobbish former arts student who couldn't get a job in the real world so they now sit behind their computer take 10 breaks a day and fumble around trying to help you out. I would tell you to avoid this but if you need something from them this is all you get...

My experience in this place is limited to picking up my official transcripts and inquiring about student loans, but I have had a great experience in both instances to merit this place a five-star rating. My experience in both instances is very smooth. I only had to wait 20 minutes at the most before my number was called. I think this is a very reasonable wait time considering the volume of students. The waiting area is filled with unusually shaped couch/chairs. I personally see this playful design as a massive waste of space, but I guess I am simply being too utilitarian.

This is the most famous building at the University of Alberta. The building main floor is designated mainly for students registrations and issuing transcripts. Also, the upper level is for the students financial purposes such as tuition fees and scholarships. Building is historic and old little bit.

The time for appointment comes slowly and they’re very fast to get rid of you. Universities should be more accommodating towards students’ times. Not a place I’d like to visit again and I’ll try to not go until it’s absolutely unavoidable. They need to make sure they spend a good amount of time with each person and that the person understands what they’re saying.

The ppl who fill out your forms and such are great, friendly, and very efficient, but the people who greet you can be a nuisance and will outright refuse you service. Needed to get a form stamped that I had already filled out, and the girl working there continuously just told me to do it online. Like, wow thanks for the amazing idea I have to load my onecard, fill out the form electronically, and print it off, when I could literally just get it stamped in 30s by the admin ppl. Mind you, they weren't even busy and I asked multiple times to see them. The girl continuously refused. I had other questions for them too and she literally just kept blowing me off.
