Acupuncture and Herbs

John is amazing and very caring. I got pregnant after 11 years of trying to conceive. My previous IVF and IUI failed. I started my treatment in Sep 2019 with both acupuncture and herbs and finally were able to conceive with IVF in Nov 2020. Unlike last IVF this time 5 eggs were retrieved and all 5 embryos were formed and frozen. PGS testing was done and 1 was a euploid. The quality of my eggs clearly improved with Accupunture. He gave me Accupunture before and after the embryo transfer which helped in implantation. I have a beautiful 1month old daughter now and I’m grateful to John for his dedication in treating me and not giving up on me.

I been coming to Dr Zhang's clinic for 12 years. Greatest experience of my life . He's awesome. I was severely allergic to nuts, coffee and many many foods. After visiting Dr. Zhang, l was no longer allergic to any of the foods l once was. He's professional and very knowledgeable in his field. Dr. Zhang is a very kind, caring, and skilled. He helped me overcome recurring night time nausea caused by acid reflux in just a few sessions. Prior to that I had suffered for years and been on prescribed medications (only to later discover that prolonged use of those medications would lead to brittle bones - yikes!). On top of that, he is also funny and would put a blanket over me to ensure I didn’t feel cold. I’ve learned so much from Dr. Zhang and will always call him first before resorting to medication in the future!

My experience with dr zhang was wonderful. I went for fertility treatments because I was experiencing difficulties getting pregnant. After almost 1.5 years of not being able to get pregnant I heard of dr zhang from a friend. The treatments were so calming and relaxing. he spent so much time getting to know me and gave me so much great advice on how to better my chances. Within 3 months I was pregnant and had a beautiful baby healthy baby girl.

My son, my wife and myself have been treated by Dr Zhang since 2013 for a variety of things - asthma, chronic sinusitis, knee, ankle and groin muscle sports injury, deep sleep, migraines. He would NEVER recommend sessions patients do not need. He is very upfront and honest about the treatment options. It is not often these days to find specialists as skilled and as honest as he is. I had my surgey on C3-C6 done in 2020 and had been suffering post-surgey pain on my rhomboid muscles (between shoulder blades). But because COVID and lockdowns, I didn't find any reherb until Jul 2021. I started with physiotherapy (they use commonly seen techniques like simple massage/relax, stretch, tenz machine, shock waves etc.) 3 times a week for about 1 month and gradually reduce to 2 times and 1 time a week. Unfortunately, I found it didn't help that much. Until I met one physiotherapist who also knows acupuncture. During the visits to my 2nd physiotherapist. I found the 10min acupuncture is the most helpul part of the treatment. So I was thinking why not I just find a licensed acupuncturer to have longer treatment session and just simply leverage the muscle strenthening exersice that I've already known? Then I found this place (after almost 1 year of physio treatment). After only a few sessions (2 times a week for 2-3 weeks), I can feel a huge improvement on my upper back and shoulder! The needles can go deep enough and accurate enough to stimulate the muscle soreness and get the soreness out. This is nothing a physio or massage can achieve. With much much less pains, I am able to do a lot of things that I used to do. Kudo to John! Also, I can tell John is a very skilled professional as I barely feel any unconfortable when he puts the needles. My wife was scared of all kinds of needles and didn't even think of an acupuncture treatment at all. but with the improvement on me, she decided to also have a try. She was very scared at the beginning but she also admits that she doesn't feel any pain from the needle, and at the end, she has no need to be scared. Now, both my wife and I like to come here once in a while to get the deep musle soreness out just like going for a massage :)

Dr. Zhang has helped me so much with both OCD symptoms and with controlling my chronic hives. His treatment have made my skin really clear up. He cares so much for his patients and is very kind. I look forward to going to him for treatment and always leave feeling relaxed. Highly recommend!

Dr. Zhang was fantastic. I hurt my back and went to him for the first time. Because I went a few days after hurting my back, full inflammation hadn’t set in yet, and his treatment worked quickly. After the first treatment, I felt a 40-50% relief from the pain. After four treatments I felt better.
