Best Public golf course in Canada

A	Alex B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked off the course. Booked it sunday afternoon 2pm. The course was so jammed there were 5 groups stick on the 4th hole. It took 1.5 hours do do the first 3 holes. Marshal came by and said its because there are too many beginners playing now and its normal. Its not normal to book that many people at the same times and have everyone overlapping. Waste of money. Never going back here.

Any time after 5pm he rudely demands that you will only get 9 holes in.. says to pick up your ball after 9. Starter will then say to play as many holes as you can. I’ve then proceeded to easily play 18 with daylight to spare.

Assumptions & rude comments were made because I rented equipment and purchased a good amount of balls for a group of people & for future games. Instead of feeling welcomed at the location, I felt shunned for not being a PGA member. As per the front desks words, “you guys are beginners, that’s not good at all”. Beginners can be a great source of income and they come to enjoy the game, I do not understand why the staff would be rude to people looking to respect and enjoy the sport. Very disappointed and frustrated with our visit today: beginners beware of condescending attitude. Please up your standards so we may all enjoy the game & before this negatively impacts the business especially in the age of social media when word gets around fast & to a vast amount of people.
C	Connor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Course is decent but when it rains a tonne the day and night before the course just absorbs water everywhere. For some reason they couldn’t even take the puddles off the green or in the cup which always was full. Pretty awful experience may give it another chance but the staff should have definitely offered a discount instead of just sending an email out in the morning before play to mention no carts due to the wetness of the course.
B	Brandon Gon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 18 holes at Acton Golf Club; course did a good job at spacing golfers so didn’t feel rushed. A lot of short holes 150~ yards, good for beginners. Course fairly well maintained - staff did a good job with the new covid rules
R	Rajan Joshi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience. It was raining slightly and the course was still in great condition. Some greens were a bit flooded but that was expected. Got to play 36 holes and the staff was very friendly and kind enough to wait for us to finish.
P	Parmvir Bath on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Course is short and decent. If it is wet at all be careful because some areas just become mushy and swamp like. Most Tee boxes are terrible. some aren't even leveled.
