Absolute worst towing company to deal with. They parked my diesel outside in 30 below and after finally being able to take it back, they were trying to charge me for a jump start.

Very unprofessional. Left my daughter on the highway for 4 hours with a 6 month old baby in the cold and did not seem to care. Blamed her for the circumstances and in the process of helping her they destroyed her gas tank. The manager was very rude on the phone and unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone.

People seem to have bad reviews, but I have been here a couple of times looking for parts to put in my chev, and have had a very good experience. not gonna say its perfect... but the people seemed happy to take me through a walk around, and help me find what i was looking for.

Incompetent pig wouldn’t even get out of her truck. She just sat in her truck and argued about nonsense, saying there was no way to pull me out. I called foothills towing instead and they got me out in all of ten minutes. Sorry lady but if you don’t know how to do your job perhaps you should stick to something a little simpler, like eating crayons. Couldn’t even get her toothless man to get out and have a look at the site. Epitome of pathetic. Do yourself a favour guys and just call a real tow truck company.

If you want to be taken advantage of and be lied to and given attitude then this is your place. If you want honesty and a place that gives you a fair price then RUN far and RUN fast We had our truck and small trailer stolen and this company was contacted to tow it. Insurance wrote the truck off but the trailer was our responsibility Staff was rude and told lie after lie to try and cover stealing items and charging us for it. One gentleman was nice when he helped us remove personal belongings from the truck. Thank you. You were the only one there that seemed to care For the trailer there was a charge of $ 120 for the tow $ 247.50 for the mileage (male employee stated that one truck was sent out and our truck was loaded on the flat deck our trailer was towed behind, the ladies at the front desk said that they will also be charging mileage for truck itself) $ 75 for labour and when asked what labour was entailed in regards to the trailer, it was explained that there was papers that needed to be picked up. However none were in the truck or in their office. Jerry cans (which the rcmp listed as nine in total) and only 4 were at the tow yard when we picked up items. The rcmp have noted that their thought is that the theives were putting fuel from our tidy tank from the back of our truck into the jerry cans. The rcmp also informed us that there was a red optima battery. This was no where to be found when we retrieved items. In part we are informing you so the insurance company is not also charged for "labour" $140 storage fee for 4 days $25 impound fee $36.75 FSC charge with no explanation of what that stands for It seems like insurance fraud that action towing would double charge for mileage and Potentially labour. When asked we received a defensive response. That that is just their policy and the ladies do not make the rates. There was no explanation to where the other jerry cans with our fuel or battery is When picked up It was explained that they were hoping that the trailer would be left another day so it would be too expensive and left behind I don't have a problem with people getting paid for a good job. Or for the work they do. I do have an issue with people just seeing how much money they can make and get away with

This company absolutely rocks!! My Serpentine belt broke in between Caroline and Rocky Mountain House today and I was stranded. Called this company for a tow back to our hotel in Rocky Mountain House. While waiting i was desperately searching for a mechanic to fix my vehicle. We are from out of town, here for the weekend for a hockey tournament. Nobody could fix it till Monday. Upon hearing this our tow truck driver Angie, found the belt and took my vehicle and fixed it for me!!! Not only that, when we got back from our game, my vehicle had been delivered right back to our hotel all fixed up and ready to go. I am still in disbelief. This woman went above and beyond to help us out. I am so grateful. Outstanding customer service and very kind and compassionate! I dont know what these other reviews are all about. I was treated with respect and kindness. Thank you so much Angie!!!! One of a kind. You dont meet people like this very often. Thank you Thank you Thank you :)

Perhaps they can do good work, but some of the people at Action are very difficult to deal with. I'm revising my initial review now after seeing other companies' rates, because their advertised rates are fairly standard. But the end price ended up being way more than it should be. Tell me how it costs $300 to haul a little snowmobile for a 20 minute drive. Then they wouldn't let me pick it up even though the RCMP told them to release it, so when they finally let me take it a few days later, the storage fee was another $300! And a snowmobile takes up a fraction of the space of a car! They weren't flat out rude to me, but they were very stubborn and unhelpful. As some others mentioned, the one guy who took me out back to get the sled was very nice and helpful, (thank you!) but everyone else was just unpleasant. Also, their place of business came across as a rather dingy junk pile of a place that just really yelled unprofessional to me. I suppose my particular situation probably contributed to it, but I was really put off by Action. I had really hoped for more courtesy and reasonableness from the management. Trying to swallow a $600 bill is not easy, especially when it would have only cost them about $80 to pay the fuel and their driver.

I got stuck in the snow on a back road. They came right away and got me out no problem.
