★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I joined Actalent a month ago and so far my experience has been great. Jacob Willard, my recruiter, has been an excellent resource throughout the transition into my new, and my first, contract role.
Jacob reached out to me through LinkedIn and after only about three days, I had met with an Actalent client and was offered my current role. It's a great fit with my skillset and Jacob helped ensure I was comfortable before moving forward. Jacob continues to check in with me and advocate for me when necessary. He is a pleasure to work with.
If something unforeseen changes with this opportunity, though I don't see that happening, I am confident I can count on Jacob to work with me through the next stages.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was recruited by Aerotek in 2020. They have since rebranded their science and engineering department to "Actalent Services." However, I am still working with the same great team I started with.
My recruiter, Lia, approached me on LinkedIn and showed great interest and care in helping me find a suitable position for my first job in engineering. She really took a lot of stress off my plate, as I was getting really discouraged in my job search at the time. Since placing me in my current role, she has continued to check in on and advocate for me - making sure I was happy and getting a good experience with the company. She also provided me with great tips for resumes and contract negotiations and was an absolute pleasure to work with.
I am soon to be leaving Actalent's services for a permanent position with the company they placed me in, but I would have no hesitation in contacting them again if I choose to change companies in the future. I reccomend Actalent Services to anyone looking for a job in the fields of engineering and science.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Received a call from Derek, months after being a reference for a previous coworker. From that conversation, he remembered the sort of opportunities that might interest me in future and when something opened, he reached out to me months later. When it comes to being hired to be contracted to another company, he's been great to deal with, always friendly and caring without sounding disingenuous. Just like any other employer, there are formalities, they're just a reality and Actalent deals with them relatively well considering they have to hire AND deal with the company they're hiring for. At the end of my contract I was offered a permanent position based on performance.

I had just updated my Indeed profile, when Tyler sent me an email stating he was interested in my skills. Very quickly I was set up for interviews with some great companies based in the Lower Mainland. Dylan and Tyler handled all of the interview set up and communication with the employers. Plus they really give good advice on what to know going in and help to pump you up to the interviewers ahead of time. Smooth process and very responsive to all of my questions and concerns.
