Found these guys online and thought I would give them a try since they had 5* star reviews. I'm a small business owner that has to report my HST remittance quarterly. I got an invoice from them in 2 days, before they even had all of the paperwork that they requested. I submitted all the requested paperwork. Once they completed my HST remittance, they emailed me, asking for approval before submitting to CRA. I emailed them back same day to please submit it and I paid the invoice that I got from them. I emailed them back asking how to setup payments through my bank for CRA, they did not respond. A month later I decided to log into my CRA account to make a payment and noticed that Account Measures did not submit my quarterly HST remittance. I emailed them to ask if they submitted it and got an email back from Amit saying "You need to pay your outstanding balance before we can continue.". I emailed back asking what outstanding balance and that I paid their invoice the same day they completed my HST remittance and asked for approval to submit it. I didn't get a reply right away so I called them. They didn't answer. Amit called me back a few minutes later saying "Sorry, we had the wrong Jason as being outstanding. I'll have staff complete this today". It's pretty sad when an accounting firm can't even tell when their own invoices are being paid, which in turn resulted in my HST remittance to be submitted late. I had never received any indication of any kind that they thought I had an outstanding balance until I called them. My HST remittance was filed a month late and would of been even later if I didn't happen to log into my CRA account. I was very upset and not impressed with the lack of professionalism and empathy. I told them that I was going to pick up all of my stuff and they did not even try to keep me as a client or bother apologizing. They just left my stuff out for me to pick up like nothing happened. Not impressed!

Hands down the best place to have all your accounting and book work taken care. From the first phone call to book the appointment, to the final process. You are taken care of, and felt like part of the family. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend them for service and continuing assistance !

With a local small business, it is important to deal with the professionals. Amit and his crew at Accounting measures are fantastic. They are quick to respond to any questions and requests I’ve had. And I had a lot! Amit has proven to give me valuable advice along the way.
