That was one of the best Ethiopian food I have had in my life. Good vibes in the restaurant. Very courteous and welcoming host. We ordered the veggie platter and the chicken dish. I loved it all. Will cone back for sure. Thank you for the hospitality. ??

Amazing food, varity, taste, authnticity, witha feminine touch as well; we were 3 people, ordered a vegetarian main meal, lamb and skillet all ended with a coffee ceremony served with popcorn. All aspects are authentic and refined.

I went to this restaurant only once (before the pandemic) and will never go back. Yes, the food is Ethiopian, but the quality is low, even though the prices are high. Yes, I understand that we don't have very good Ethiopian restaurants anywhere in Toronto, but that doesn't mean that we have to put up with low quality for high prices. For those of us who travel around major cities in North America and have tried amazing Ethiopian food, this place is a complete disappointment, and not only the food, but the dΓ©cor is shabby and the service staff disinterested. If you are ever in Boston, MA, go to Addis Red Sea Ethiopian Restaurant - Boston MA 02116. Mind-blowing, haute-cuisine Ethiopian food, in an amazing ambience that looks like a museum with artifacts everywhere, and all the staff are dressed in traditional Ethiopian clothes and are super-friendly and polite. And the prices there (even when converted from $USD) are the same as this restaurant!

Went to Danforth location. The food was ok. Nothing special. Portions small. Prices high. Service slow. Took long time for the food to arrive and it was not busy. Multiple times had to ask for water refill.

This place needs a lot of improvement! They’re understaffed, badly! The amount of times we had to ask for water and utensils to be brought to our table was outrageous. The food was not good either, what was shown on the menu and what we got looked like 2 completely different things. The price was quite expensive as well considering the amount of food you get and the quality. They did have free wifi however, as well as washrooms and outdoor seating which was a plus. Very limited on parking space though. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend this place either!

This restuarnt is good for family get together, I spent an amazing time with my friends. They have variety of Ethiopian food menus with beautiful Ethiopian coffee ceremony and more. I recommend to anyone who wants to know about Ethiopian culture to come visit this place.
