A	Abbotsford Manager on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had property stolen from my business. Nobody showed up. Nobody responded to the report. Called in multiple times and was given attitude and the run-around from the various people I spoke to. Terrible service. Its sad when stolen property isn't even looked, seems like they are too busy handing out tickets to people checking cellphones at red lights rather than stopping actual theft. Revenue is the main goal clearly.

Interviewed the victim and accused then took my witness statement too. 2nd time bunch of guys tried to pull me out of a truck and they never even followed up to my 911 call. Great police work. B	Bryson Worden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Abbotsford police department undoubtedly works to serve their community to the best of their ability, their primary goal being to aid the citizens as best as possible. This detachment extends that policy, with friendly staff that work to aid those coming in for whatever reason, but the limited parking lot for public leaves a little to be desired. Still, a great location for the greatest of heroes.

m	minusangel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called to report someone allowing their minor child to drive on a public road(family oriented cul-de-sac) in Abbottsford. Basically they weren't even willing to look into it to talk to these "parents" because it wasn't currently taking place. Yet this parent posted these pictures and videos on Facebook glorifying it(still up as well). Best to avoid public roads out there in my opinion, they obviously don't seem to want to deal with it until something actually happens(God help them the next time it happens if a child is hit). Any of my previous encounters with police have been fairly positive, this one just seemed like a failed attempt to educate some parents about responsible parenting at the very least.
K	Kaleb de Bruin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My car was stolen last yr and apparently recovered by the police but I just received a bill from Jack's towing for 1k. The bill is dated 23 days after it was recovered yet this is the first of any notice I received about the recovery of my car. The abby pd should have contacted me first but they didn't and now I have to pay well over 1k to get my stolen car back. And try calling the non emergency, can't even get through to anyone so useless to contact why fund an independent police force if they can't even do their job.

I've been there twice to get fingerprints done for my security clearance for Health Canada but they couldn't do it properly both the times and I still had to pay them twice for something that they could not do. Then I had to finally get this done from a third party private organization in Surrey. I have seen the same thing happening with 2 of my colleagues and on top of that they have a really bad attitude when you try explaining them something, they'll be like they know their job but apparently not!!
J	Jessica Dhaliwal on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kinda horrible experience via phone with the elder receptionist that answered the first couple times was so rude and seemed uninterested in helping anyone and more interested in Karen-like behaviour. She would request a police file number for items that were picked up by the Abbotsford police even though I would have no way to obtain that and asked no questions. Then fortunately after calling a 3rd time, the younger girl that answered the phone was much more kind and was happy with my suggestion to look up the date and address I could provide. I would hope calls were taken a lot more seriously with interest in every single important detail a caller provides to the police! :\|
