I have been going to Kirpal for over 5 years, but have now decided to go somewhere else. The reason is that I have noticed that the services provided by Kirpal have digressed over the years. When I try to contact her, she tells me she will get back to me, but does not. I find that I have to contact her numerous times before I can speak with her and when I do speak with her and ask her questions about my taxes/accounting she is very dismissive and gives me barely any information. In addition, when I talk to her she makes me feel like I am wasting her time by asking her questions regarding my taxes. My finances are very important to me and if the person I go to does not treat them the same way, that is a very bad sign indeed. It is this type of behaviour that shows me when a person/business does not value its customers anymore and will continue to go downhill in the services they provide them with. Lastly, you should know that Kirpal is not an accountant although she tells people she is. She does not have a CA or a CGA. She is a bookkeeper. This is one of the reasons she may be limited in the type of services she can provide you with and what she is able to give you answers for. This is something that she should tell her customers right from the get go, but she does not. I had to specifically ask her about this 4 or 5 times before she told me that she is a bookkeeper and thus not an accountant. And not surprisingly as I write this review, I am still waiting for a call back from her. However I am not waiting on her any longer as I will be going to someone else. Her lack of professionalism is not okay. I hope this review helps you to decide whether you should use Kirpal's services.

We have been going here for 7 years plus with great service until this last tax year. Kiranpal made an error with a number reversal on my daughters return. My daughter was not with me when the taxes were completed so I was given a form for her to sign and return the next day. I was told that she could not submit her taxes until signed form was returned. My daughter caught the error which I took to Kiranpal the next day. At that time she told me she had already filed the claim but would resubmit it, was given a new form and returned the next day with it. Monies where refunded in error to my daughter so once again I called Kiranpal who told me to return them and assured me she had resubmitted the corrected taxes. In July my daughter got a letter with monies owing so she contacted them and was told no resubmission was ever made and that this was a criminal offense to not have done so. I have contacted Kiranpal on numerous occasions and she has not returned my calls even though she said she would. Not once was there ever an apology for her errors and now she won't even discuss this with us. Yes people do make mistakes but how she has handled this .... avoidance- is totally unprofessional. Extremely disappointed in her lack of professionalism!

We used to go to another tax prep office for our business and personal taxes, which often took 2+ hours to complete. A Plus gets it done in about 30 minutes (2 people) or less, with no problems in the last 5 years. Recommended!

Terrible customer support. I called more than 5 times trying to get an appiontment to do my taxes. They don't answer or if they do they are busy to talk and also when they'll say they call back, they don't. I wouldn't bother calling them ever again. Can't imagine the service if the start is already terrible. Don't understand how they got over 4 stars.
