Prior to founding 786 Accounting & Tax, Sayem worked as a Tax Specialist for KPMG specializing in small businesses enterprise. He also worked in Executive role with the one of the largest fashion retailer in the country, where he reshaped the district and sales culture of the entire district. He also continues to provide CFO/Controller services to few select start-ups. Where the company grew from a beginning start-ups to a mid-level firm and more.

Sayem holds Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Sunderland and Post bachelor from Vancouver Island University, is a Chartered Professional Accountant and is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor.

Stella Hong achieved her designation from the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from China. With over 15 years of experience in public practice, including big four accounting firms and multi-national corporations, she brings a wealth of simple to complex accounting, advisory and tax experience. She is very passionate about helping small business owners achieve success by ensuring continuous support. With her multidisciplinary and multicultural expertise, your accounting, advisory and tax will be in great hands.

Crystal Shen, BBA

Crystal had gained over 20 years of financial experience in the roles like Chief Financial Officer and Executive Finance in the world’s leading national and multi-national company in her home country. Being an entrepreneur herself, she understands the grind the small business owners have to go through to succeed. She completed BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) from a prestigious university in China and Certification from Harvard Business School. She brings the proven track record of being a successful leader with a wealth of experience and knowledge to 786 Accounting & Tax in the Accounting and Advisory role.

When she is not working on the numbers, you can find Crystal going fishing, hunting in northern Saskatchewan.

Elaine has over 12 years of financial experience including big four accounting firm and fast-growing companies in different fields in her home country. She is equipped with solid accounting, auditing, and financial analyzing knowledge. With strong logical thinking and financial analysis ability, she can provide customers with improvement suggestions.  

Having been bookkeeping for over 80 small businesses in Canada, she has a comprehensive understanding of small enterprises in different industries. She brings a wealth of solid experience to 786 Accounting & Tax in the Accounting and Tax role.
