Staring in 2009, when you come to Ontario and buy a fishing license or hunting license, you will be required to purchase an outdoor card for an additional $9. The card is good for 3 years. This is a program that has been already implemented since 1998 for residents. The MNR wants to expand the program to non-residents. The main function of the card is to have all your contact and license information in a database so if you come across a game warden or conservation officer in the bush while fishing or hunting, it takes them seconds to know who you are and verify that you do have a license by showing them your outdoor card.
Another advantage is when you buy a fishing or hunting license, you just have to show your outdoor card. You don't have to pull out old licenses from your state or any other ID. You can also buy your license online with the card number. This program also prevents counterfeiting of fishing and hunting licenses because everyone is issued his or her own unique number. It will be a great help in preventing poaching and other wildlife crime.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an awesome resort!! The fishing was so fun and Brad and Helen were so easy to work with and super helpful with everything. The cabins are just as expected. Clean and perfect for our group. The fish cleaning house and docks were easily accessible and wonderful. I would recommend this resort to anyone and can't wait to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Seven Lakes years ago on a moose hunt. Even though I came away empty handed, I can't even begin to put into words just how great of hosts Brad and Helen are. They are some of the most honest, hard-working, and pleasant people you could ever hope to meet. If you are looking to do a hunting or fishing trip surrounded by everything that makes Ontario great, you should do yourself a huge favor and at least contact them. They were very accommodating for me, and I can't recommend them enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been working with Brad & Helen with Seven Lakes Wilderness camps for 5-6 years. I have stayed at Walleye Cove, I have been on a Moose Hunt and have done a couple of Fly-in Fishing trips as well. I cant tell you how nice it is to work with them on whatever type of trip you are looking for. They have been more than accommodating. The fishing at all of their camps have been outstanding. The accommodations have always been comfortable. I have not used another outfitter since starting to work with them. I really appreciate the honesty about what the expectations should be when traveling to a wilderness camp. They are right up front about the fact that you are not staying at the Hilton but given what they have to work with in the Wilderness they do a great job. The trophies from here have been outstanding. I have personally caught and witnessed More than 10 walleyes in excess of 28" 13 Northern Pike in excess of 40' with my largest being 48 1/4. Brook Trout in excess of 20's Incredible. On My first Moose hunt I was able to harvest a 54" Bull. I don't think you can o wrong booking a trip with Brad & Helen and Seven Lakes Wilderness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful features on the bottum at Marshall lake. Had walley hunt like pike in the heat of the day. Had pike follow up to the boat and strike the fish yould reel in. Every fish i caught would be perfect for eating. You could catch a hundred fish a day, per person, easy.
