Why are we called 6S? 

· Tom & Rena Stewart and their 4 children made a family of 6 Stewarts so “6S”.

 We like plays on words so

 “Safety with Success”. 

What we are about: 

We are a family run business that started back in 1988. With a modest start facilitating programs with the Royal Lifesaving Society of Canada and the Canadian Red Cross Society. We expanded our training platform becoming franchise instructors for St John Ambulance in 1998, Energy Safety Canada (formerly PITTS, then Enform & OSSA) and Global Training Centre. 

We have moved from several locations until we found a nice fit here above Oras Communications.

6S Safety has two classrooms, ample parking to accommodate to over 40 people. We provide a large portion of our training offsite to our valued customers traveling to site is how we started and is still part of the services we provide. 

We have been providing safety training  for over 25 years, and many of our clients have been coming back every three years ever since. We appreciate our customer patronage and it’s our customer service that separates us from the rest. We make every learning experience here a positive and informative one.

Rena : Started the facilitating training with the background in EMS and life-guarding. She expanded the variety of  specialty courses over the years, and manages the business side.  She is a Franchise instructor for St John Ambulance  and the

Global Training Centre.

Tom: Came on board and did International training throughout Canada and the USA , his background of over 30 years of field experience in the oil & gas industry has certainly benefited his instructional knowledge and skill. Safety Consultant, HSE program building and delivery, Franchise instructor for Energy Safety Canada and Global Training Centre.

Cassie: Brought her science background from attending MacEwan University and applies it to understanding the rationale in First aid, Oxygen Administration, and Health Care Professional courses that she delivers. Franchise instructor for St John Ambulance since 2011. Cassie also manages the day to day operation and has been a part of 6S Safety for 10 years.

Contractors: Must meet the high stringent criteria for delivering training or providing services at 6S Safety , as we have a reputation of integrity, quality, accuracy.
