★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t usually write reviews but I drove across the city for the ribs because they claimed in their ads that it tasted like Ruby Foos. The ribs sauce was thin and sugary and bland. ..definitely not like Ruby Foos! The chow main was supposed to have soft noodles as requested but they were hard. The sauce was watery and bland. The lamb was bland and tasteless. The shrimp and lobster sauce was loaded with minced meat and very disappointing. We were so put off we threw out this expensive over priced meal …$150!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time back since good old Orchidée de Chine! Amazing food and definitely the best chinese food in town. Here are 2 suggestions that I would recommend. This comes from someone who went to Orchidée every year on my birthday for 15 years: please bring back the beef leak (boeuf aux poireaux)! That dish was the bomb! Also the general tao was very good but I believe it is not the exact same recipe as before, it used to be a 6/5 stars and now is a 5/5. Still very good!

As was their former L’orchidee de chine.
Anything I’ve ordered has been fresh and so delicious!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great meal at 31 Latitude - The Manager used to work at L'Orchidee de Chine and so is the Chef. Great service, great attention to details and wonderful food we used to enjoy at their previous location. Nice decor, wonderful atmosphere, I highly recommend it !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant was not very busy on Saturday evening. Food was Ok. We ordered fried rice and they were very bland for my taste buds but it was good when combined with stir-fried vegetables. I found it expensive for what they serve.
I am aware that fried rice should be accompanied & that's what I'v mentioned above. Thanks.
