★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just wanted to leave a 5 star review for the great experience I had here! I took the 3 day Safety Rider course and did not regret it! Adam and the team were great! I went from not ever touching a motorcycle to being able to pass my MST/MSA! Taught me some great skills and safety practices that I will keep up during my riding! Can't wait to do the Road Rides!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lot of fun at this course! Adam can raise his voice quite a bit, but it's because he is trying to teach you life saving skills. Once you warm up to him he is like a big teddy bear. Would recommend this school to anyone. RIDE SAFE!

I would definitely recommend this course for all new riders. I purchased a motorcycle prior to attending the course, now I feel much more confident on my new bike. Thank you to Adam and Raymond for all of their help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would very highly recommend going through 1st Gear Motorcycle Langley for your motorcycle training. Lee did a great job on the video presentation and the in class theory. Lionel and Kiefer both did a fantastic job with the hands on motorcycle training. They were very fair and clear with their instructions and always encouraging us to ask questions. They all made sure that you understood the techniques and demonstrated the skill before moving onto the next step. I had a blast. Thank you very much and I will definitely recommend people to your training school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adam and Ted were amazing instructors. My wife was able to go from never riding a bike before to passing the MST test in a weekend. Once you have the basic principles down they go above and beyond with the skills they teach such as counter-steering through and around cones to simulate avoiding dangers on the road, emergency breaking situations, how to emergency break In corners, u-turns and much more. They teach to your experience level and challenge every student to be a better rider when they leave, whether you’ve never been on a bike or you have years of experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a bad experience with another driving school, I connected with 1st Gear Motorcycle School and Training. Absolutely the BEST way to learn to ride. Although Adam can come across a bit gruff from time to time but his knowledge base is phenomenal . The videos on his website to help you ride safely and competently were a great help to me. 1st Gear will be the only driving school I will recommend. Thank you for all your patience and hard work Adam, Kathy , Kiefer and Selina .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This riding school was the perfect balance in order to learn how to ride a motorcycle for me. The instructors take full responsibility in making sure you develop the skills necessary to ride safely. I had zero experience on the controls of motorcycles before starting and in 1 weekend I am confident enough to say I understand what it takes to ride a motorcycle. Adam, Cat and Ted are the perfect balance of tough love and encouragement in order to gain a humble confidence that you will need on the road when the time comes.
